Mdm Lily specially homecooked Malaysia food. Definitely best Asian food in Kaikoura New Zealand!!! Good value for money and taste is good! Definitely worth a try if you ever passby Kaikoura for food. The taste of the food are excellent with adequate portion. Owner is extremely friendly and nice. It is a food truck but there are tables and chairs besides for dine in. A big thumbs up for Asian Taste. Great Malaysian Roti bread. Mince, cheese and sauces on a bread. Really good! $8 only for a lot of flavour! If you like spicy you can ask for Lily her special homemade hot sauce. I also had the chickennugget on rice WAUW. Lily makes the bather/cothing herself and the same for the chickenburger. (On the picture of the nuggets I ate a couple of nuggets before I toke the picture) Lily is daily open on not rainy days around 10am till 2pm. CASH ONLY! We got the beef curry and the Malaysian fried noodles and it was surprisingly so delicious! I don’t know how the lady that works here can pump out so many dishes and have it still taste great all by herself! Very delicious, highly recommended, the owner is really nice, had a good chat! We stayed here for two days and ate it every day at noon. We also packed Sin Chew fried rice noodles for dinner.
