Don’t be put off by the fact that this restaurant is inside a hotel- this is not a “hotel restaurant “, rather this is a chef and staff that is fully committed to creative “scratch kitchen” experience. If available, I recommend the tasting menu with wine pairing- you will experience a constellation of perfect small dishes perfectly paired with wine. This place knocks it out of the park! Our initial visit to Artesian during restaurant week left us pleasantly surprised, and it has become a favorite since. The menu, revolving around seasonal themes and local ingredients, continually impresses. While the burger is a standout, we often explore the specials to savor new flavors. The dynamic cocktail menu, syncing with the food offerings, along with non-alcoholic options, is a delightful touch. Artesian has secured its place as a regular haunt for us – a perfect spot for a meal, live music, and scenic views by the lake in summer or the cozy fireplace in winter. A must-visit, whether you're a local or a tourist. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cauliflower Steak

On the bay watching the sunset with some fabulous food. Had the tuna appetizer and fish chowder. Both were very flavorful and well seasoned. Then had the white fish and Mushroom pasta . Again well seasoned and very flavorful. Will return on our next visit. Service was very good all so and F & B director personal came to our table. Good vibe and wonderful eats Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Incredible fine dining experience and we loved it! The wait staff is extremely professional and polite and the food was truly delicious. I high recommend the fillet, it’s worth every dollar! Get dessert, the fluffy caramel cheesecake was heavenly. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Potato Pave

Absolute perfection of an experience at Artisan for dinner. We were seated out back with a view of the lake, which was beautiful. We were celebrating an anniversary, and were given some free bubbles which was a nice touch. The pomme frites with truffle aioli are a must! The salmon was nicely cooked and seasoned, and the local cherries gave it a small sweet note. The filet is one of the best we've ever tasted, particularly the demi glace. We were also fortunate to be given a free dessert, an awesome vanilla cheesecake with gingerbread cookies. Every bite of food we received was 5 stars. The service was good, and the cocktails were worth a try as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The restaurant doesn't fully live to the set expectations of local farm-to-table ingredients coupled with global sophistication . Food that we tried was somewhat average given highly competitive scale of the local exceptional foodie culture landscape. Great view of West Grand Traverse Bay. Great selection of cocktails and local and international wines Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Seafood Chowder
The Artisan restaurant was wonderful. It overlooked the bay at Traverse City. It is part of the Delamar resort. The caesar salad was our favorite...deliciously prepared. We also enjoyed the cod sandwich, cod platter, and seafood soup. The ice tea was when delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant in which we had a beautiful view of the sunsets each night. Disappointed is the word. I could hardly wait to try the whitefish sandwich, but there's not much whitefish and a whole lotta bun. Expensive, but what isn't these days? The fries were fabulous! The four of us shared them. The squash soup was okay, more spicy than we expected. Nice presentation, tho. Also expensive. We loved the outdoor heaters and, of course, the view. This restaurant came highly recommended on Google so we booked a reservation for our work trip in Traverse City. This place did not disappoint at all. The interior and exterior decor fit the vibe perfectly. It was a super clean and well organized place. The staff was so friendly when they seated us outside and even gave us sunglasses because the sun was setting and it was quite bright. We were so surprised and delighted that they did this extra little touch for a couple of our teammates. We ordered almost all the appetizers as well as a number of entrées. The Fish, cauliflower steak, and burgers were all extremely flavorful and well cooked. Ned was our waiter. He helped suggest cocktails and wine as well just being attentive to what we needed when we needed it. We didn’t have a good experience the night before at another restaurant in so that made this evening at Artisan even better. Also I forgot to mention that the drinks were all amazing!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

You are looking at an incorrectly made gimlet with a paper straw. The paper straw alone should be telling. This establishment has gone for the globalist Communists nonsense to the point they don't care if your straw falls apart in your drink. However, it doesn't stop there. Now, I've been to some of the finest restaurants in the nation. I'm familiar with proper dining and a properly made gimlet. When I pointed out the fact the drink shouldn't be made with fresh lime juice I was told I was wrong by a bar manager that has likely never been to a restaurant better than Taco Bell prior to her employment here. It seems like they really think they're something special, when in actuality they don't know what they're doing. With the attitude from the drink fiasco we decided against having dinner here. BTW, we are staying at the hotel and thought everything else was very nice. That paper straw tells you everything you need to know though. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
