The food was excellent, the server was even better so we had absolutely no complaints what so ever!! The GM seated us and was so proud of his team you could tell and had every right to be!!! Came here with my husband to eat lunch. Food was pretty good but service was superior. It’s rare to find a server these days who makes you feel like you’re not a burden. I took my daughter and her boyfriend to eat and we were seated right away and we had an excellent server!!! My daughter and her boyfriend had the chicken tender plates and I got my all time favorite dish, the fiesta lime chicken 😍 I get that dish everytime I eat at Applebee's because it's everything I've needed in my life ❤️❤️ It was perfect and we had a really great time!! Food was typical Applebee's, maybe had it come out on time it would have been hot lnstead of heatlamp warm. Its always a great atmosphere we always see familiar faces with,even though service was subpar,the manager I think her name was Melinda, outstanding❤️❤️,felt like she really cared🙏,very professional,Applebee's is lucky to have her!!!! She actually turned it around for us,and turned a bad situation into a great experience!!! Food is not as good as it use to be. Ordered the wonton tacos. Was my favorite back in the day. The wonton was chewy and taco itself had no flavor. No sweet chili sauce that they use to put on. Walked in asked for table a table for 4. Told 10 minutes by guy hosting. 25 minutes later new girl comes in, says she has to move our wait time back another 25-30 minutes. Meanwhile, a group of 11 had left without ordering because they wanted to drink but didn’t have IDs. So our wait getting pushed back made no sense. And they seated 2 different tables of 2 each that came in 15 minutes after we did. I asked to speak to manager. After waiting 20 minutes for manager we gave up. Don’t waste your time. Nothing that came out was fresh. The people have no customer service skills at all!!!! This girl who waited on us really made me mad. Came to the table I ordered an appetizer for the five people at my table about 20 or so minutes goes by they finally bring it out it’s lukewarm and she leaves finally comes back with my son a drink and I tell her we are ready to order she says oh I thought that’s all you wanted! Really??? For five people? It’s ridiculous! Then I try to order the salmon the manager comes over and says oh we don’t have that do you want something else, umm no at this point I’m mad and just ready to leave. Meal came quickly - important for a workday lunch. Friendly server. I really enjoyed the gluten free fiesta lime chicken - the chicken breast, seasoning and tortilla strips were delicious. The rice seemed a bit lukewarm but was alright. I also had a nonalcoholic pina colada, which was quite refreshing. Recommend for a good, quick lunch. The music was not my taste and too loud for me, but I put on earphones and listened to vids on my phone, so it was bearable.
