My experience: This was my second visit at Angie’s Soul House. Today’s visit I ordered the fried flounder, mac & cheese and yams. Please note I could not wait until I returned home therefore I popped the lid and started eating in my car outside of the restaurant. The fried flounder was seasoned to perfection and oh baby, that crunch, yams (flavorful) and mac & cheese (creamy & cheesy) which was consistent with my 1st visit. The price point was under $30 (large portions). Furthermore, I called the restaurant during my 25 mile drive home, spoke directly with Angie because I wanted her to know my experience after eating her food. I told her it brought me joy and I felt compelled to let her know personally. Also, I was driving and eating at the same time. I actually had a tear in the corner of my left eye. In addition, the staff remained positive the entire time while working expeditiously to get everyone their order/s. A.S.H is always busy which is a clear sign. For me, Angie and her team has it figured out!

Got 2 plates from too good to go app and I wasn't expecting it to be thaaaat good. But hands down someee bombbb caribeean food. Seasoned to perfection. Truly food for the soul. I was able to taste the pasta which had some kick of hot Spice in it not overbearing. Also tried the beef ribs which were falling off the bone and sweet and juicy. Will be going back!!

"Well, slap me and tell my mamma! 'Cause that's some delicious food". Craved some soul food and was in the area so I tried it. Initially didn't know it was a Caribbean & American Soul restaurant, and it exceeded my expectations. The mac & cheese is better than most restaurants; probably the best I've ever had. It was some creamy, gooey, cheesy, delicious goodness. If Angie's jerk chicken is what jerk chicken is supposed to taste like, then everyone else is making it wrong. It was some of the most tender and flavorful jerk chicken I've had in a long time. Smoked turkey wings were juicy, tender, and delicious. Rice and beans were better than expected. Friendly and all smiles from Angie and the staff. Definitely made my Sunday soulful after eating some food from here. Very clean, beautiful, and (slightly) open view restaurant. Can be a little pricey, but it's worth it.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. The cabbage was well seasoned and the crunch on the fish could be heard around the world! And it wasn't dry, moist and tender #friedtoperfection

Never thought I would spend 30 on oxtails but I would DEFINITELY again from Angie’s Soul House. Amazing job guys. Also definitely have notice longer wait times due to how busy they get. This week I had to go inside to place my order and come back in 45 mins which they called me and let me know. Great customer communication and service.

Been here twice, the food is so well seasoned and well cooked. The oxtail is tender and savory. The jumbo wings are juicy and crispy, the honey Siracha sauce is sweet and savory. The curry chicken tastes just like home and the sides are fantastic as well, the rasta pasta and tuna mac salad are great. Gotta order early since the food will run out within an hour of opening, but it's worth waiting.

The food here is delicious. We drove 30 minutes to try the food here after seeing the food online and it was worth it.The Mac & Cheese was so good-baked just right. We also tried the fried chicken which was seasoned perfectly and I suggest giving the soul roll a try too! So good. We will definitely be back.

Best soul food I've had in years. I found it by accident and talked about it all week and got a few co workers to try with me. Instantly had a crowd around me asking to taste it and saw several people ran over to get their own meals lol. We got the Honey BBQ pork ribs, Mac n cheese (amazing) and candied yams. We are all planning another lunch next week. Looking forward to the Jerk Chicken and rasta pasta.
Got the jerk chicken, sweet style and not too spicy. Was very delicious and the rasta pasta reminds me of dishes I had in new Orleans actually. I've gone several times with co workers now and love the food. It's a massive cheat day for me though because it's definitely not "on diet" but it's worth it!! She also offers more affordable Lunch menu now for smaller portion and budgets.

The food and service here is TOP TIER. 100/10
I always get the lamb chops with collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and the yams. The banana pudding is also absolutely amazing. Best soul food I’ve had in New York.
