This is a good taqueria from 12 or more years ago but the prices now are the price of gold almost. Their food is good but I would not say amazing. Perhaps the quality has gone down and prices gone up due to Guy Fieri’s endorsement. That Guy Fieri gets paid to eat and endorse places and any fat guy can claim the food is amazing but it’s a far stretch of facts. This joint, will not compete with any taquerias of Mexico City. They are trying hard but it’s semi authentic not 100%. There is an equally expensive market next door with many interesting finds. I'm from Mexico, I know the real authentic taste of Mexican food. I've been all over Minneapolis trying to find that taste and I believe I found it. Andale has the closest thing to real Mexican food I've been able to find! The burritos are big and the nachos are plentiful! Very authentic Mexican cuisine, I loved the food, it was delicious delightful, Bon appetite!!! It was my birthday 🎂 so driving an hour from up north was absolutely worthwhile. Even thou the parking lot is small the place is always busy. **Detailed review of grocery store food not the restaurant** By far some of the best carnitas I’ve had from a grocery store to this date. They were juicy, very very tender and the salsas were packed full of flavor. I bought some corn tortillas to go with the carnitas and some juices that complimented with the tacos ever so well. My juice choices were mango, pineapple, watermelon and papaya from a brand called De Mi País (highly recommended drink). Be weary of the salsa, they are packed full of flavor to compliment the tacos but they are pretty darn spicy, especially the red salsa but trust me when I say this; They are good! I haven’t tried the Mexican pastry bread yet so I have yes to rate these, however, for 1.50$ a piece, it’s safe to say that these are going to be good, especially considering there size! They’re monstrous! If you’re looking to pick up some quick delicious tacos for the family; Trust me in this. Ask for 2-4lb of carnitas, pick up 1-2 packs of tortillas, ask for the red and green salsa and pick up a couple of those drinks. YOU’RE FAMILY WILL THANK YOU! All in all I paid 40$ for 2lb of carnitas, 4 drinks, 4 pieces of bread and 4 small cups of salsa. If I lived here, they would definitely be my go to store for some quick family taco meals! The food is top-notch. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Minnesota, this is the place. The market next store is awesome as well. It is the closest food to the LA street scene.. Overall we did enjoy the food. I tried 5 different tacos and my husband got the taco salad bowl. It is a very busy spot so the wait time was long when it came to ordering and waiting for food. The seating is very limited so better off calling or ordering online. The parking lot is very limited so it's hard to get in and out when the parking lot is full. The grocery side of the store was amazing. They had all sorts of Mexican food items to choose from like bread, fresh produce, candy, drinks, canned goods, household items, deli, ECT. It truly brought me back to when I was a kid in my grandma's house. I would definitely go back just for the grocery store side for sure. I'm not from the area but every time I'm in the twin cities, Andale is a must stop. The food is amazing; I've tried several dishes and always come back to the street tacos. My family loves this place! I just wish the parking lot was bigger. IT'S GRRREAT..stumbled across this place after work..seen it plenty of times, not knowing..I ordered the Burrito Suizo..VERY GOOD..after taking pics ans receiving my food..i took a bite..did my usual "it's GREAT dance"..than realized..i needed sit down ans appreciate..Johann was very helpful and personable.. soo good i had to write the review RIGHT NOW.. only 4☆because it was the only thing I tried..but FO'SHO..WILL BE BACK..
