Loved it here. Such a great chill vibe. David and the team were super accommodating and friendly. We ended up returning there like roosters coming home for the most part of our time there. Chill and easy place, Excellent food, we eat mix grilled fish, very honest prices!! Waiting time around 40 minutes, Suggest to go there before sunset and enjoy the view. Best place to chill and just have therapy with the sea also amazing food. The shades of blue in the sea and sky makes a perfect match with feet on the sand, very local and authentic. Went back to Amigos and it’s bigger and better. The vibe is amazing and the area is lively with lots of massage therapists on one side and water activities. Best place to swim and take memorable pictures. No beach boys and the beach is clean. Feels safe to walk on Diani beach compared to Mombasa. Love Amigos, have visited a couple of times while at Diani. Food is really good, always hot and fresh. They serve nice cold beers/ciders so you can just relax and watch the camels walk by, or listen to the sound of the sea.

Relaxing place where you can sit on the beach and enjoy a beer or cocktail. Food is standard Kenyan cuisine at cheap prices for the beach. Beef skewers are chewy. Chips are fresh and good. We didn’t order seafood because the kids didn’t want it today. Beer was cold enough. Fewer decorated ladies than Bidi Bado. 2022 review Visited twice New Year’s week. First time was “ok”. Male server was always making mean comments to the female servers. It was clear that he was putting them down and they were getting discouraged. Definitely not making it a happy atmosphere. He didn’t seem to care about patrons or his colleagues. All he seemed to care about was money. The second visit was worse than the first. Ordered food at 1:15pm and didn’t get food for two hours. Others who came after us were served before us. When we went to complain, the manager came. But instead of caring for the customers, he got upset with us and mocked us for claiming that we had been waiting two hours. He called to the kitchen to check the order book. It was confirmed that we were waiting TWO HOURS for some fried food. Any apologies? Nope. He was angry and willing to cancel our order. Servers still brought out the food but they were clearly not happy that we complained. Not a single apology. Not a single plate of chips comped. Guess they don’t want us back. Quite sad.
