We loved this super nice local Place where you can get authentic Sri Lanka dishes even in this usually more western scene at Arugam Bay. One of the best meals I've ever eaten. We had Ali's special curry & prawn curry. It came with rice mini padadams and 2 delicious veg curries and a dhal. So clean so fresh. Perfect.

Nice local food restaurant, very cheap if you come for the lunch buffet. I recommend if you like local food.

Great price , try all local food here! Especially string hoppers,pol sambol, curry, Dahl, match it all with a fresh coconut! Excellent taste, clean and friendly. Incredible prices. Thank you Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

If you are located in Arugambay or Pottuvil you should give IT a Go, prices are cheap and you will get plenty of food. In general the less white people you see in a Restaurant in Sri Lanka then ever better will the food be and the less money you will need. Just look around where the residents eat if you want to have the true experience of eating in Sri Lanka. For me, avoid main street restaurants and watch out for small little somewhat weird snack bars and you will have a pleasure during lunch/breakfast/dinner. Don't go for fancy places to eat. If people try to force you to visit their restaurant just pass by and look for people only cooking and handling their own stuff. In Sri Lanka this way i met the Most friendful & helpful people and got the best food. May take some time and bravery to get used to it but you wont regret it. I did backpacking and found this to be the best solution for my journey.

Lovely restaurant. I get samosas here daily and they are fresh and delicious. And their dolphin Kottu is absolutely delicious! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
