Food was amazing! The waitress spoke English, the environment was cozy, there are tables separated by large walls so that you can't see other customers, it gives privacy. Low prices. Highly recommend!

Exterior looks pretty simple, interior on the other hand has a really nice look. Place is very spacious. Whole group got chicken soup and devolay. Everything was well seasoned, salads looked and tasted fresh. Definitely gonna visit again if I'll be around.

It was my first visit since many, many years... I wanted to show this once famous place to my husband. It was completely renovated, maybe even recently, but is still have that vibe of an upscale restaurant from a long forgotten communistic/socialistic time. A little bit of a railway-station-restaurant type of interior design still. But the food was fresh and good. We had a pea soup, żurek (traditional Polish soup), kartacze (large dumplings stuffed with ground meat and herbs) and Wiener Schnitzel. We enjoyed everything, the price was VERY reasonable and service was friendly and quick. We would appreciate a menu in English though... I am sure it would be helpful to all the foreigners visiting Augustów as well.

They provided us with catering service, 2 weeks for few families staying in the nearby camping site. Very nice food with decent pricing. The service was always in time and very responsive to our comments.

Food was ok, but service was a tragedy. Very unprofessional, they seem to have enough people, but not synchronized.. we waited 30 minutes for a bottled beer..

It is an important place for Augustow. It has a long tradition dating back to comunist era. There is a well-known song Seven girls from Albatros. Almost all people in Poland know this song. If you are from abroad you should go there and eat something. But be carefull this place is not posh, vibrant or cozy. It is down to earth, modernistic (I think so) and very Central European. Good place to eat Kartacze (dumplings with meat, with a lot of fat) - delicacy.

Lunch was around 20 pln,portions were big, but atmosphere inside was not to our liking, food also dissapointed us.
