Chill atmosphere, and probably the only place in Alhambra with an electronic dart board. I recommend this place if you just want to throw some darts and relax.

Al's is a North San Gabriel institution. It's located in my old neighborhood where I grew up in the 70's and 80's, and still serves locals in a friendly and generous manner. It was great to spend an enjoyable evening there when I was "back in town."

Should be labeled as a "dive" bar based on layout, but I wouldn't. The place was super clean, even the restroom, everyone was nice, especially the mixologist Shawn, and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely return!

Pop music on a Friday night and no bartender behind the bar in a full bar. I was told this was a great dive bar with great rock music. SGV really needs some better bars. This place is far from being a great dive bar. In response to the bar: It was definitely longer than 5 minutes because I was able to hear 3 pop songs in a row. And your regular customers were making comments about how this particular bartender is always disappearing. Im very familiar with how bars work and ive never seen one bartender on a busy night. So perhaps its a management issue. Thank you! We did in fact find a great busy bar with some good music. And its closer to home! No AC/DC for me though and definitely no Taylor Swift ;)

I love this great quaint drive bar. A local favorite with good pours and great prices. Friendly mixed crowed all week long. Nothing better than a Jameson and Ginger while playing some darts to cap off the night.
