My fiancé and I celebrated our recent engagement here for dinner and opted for the Wanderlust tasting menu. The food and service were top notch and we would recommend this to our friends. Beware to pace yourself because you will be served a lot of food! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here for the night they had the Saturday “Drunch” deal - the deal is maybe one of the few times this place’s price is justified as it’s generally quite expensive. Though the drunch is still relatively expensive, it’s well worth it as the food was delicious, the value was of quality, and the staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Their presentation is adorable. If you come outside of drunch times / when there’s a deal, I can see you would leave dissatisfied for what you pay however during the deals you’ll find it an amazing experience. Aesthetics on point too! DJ On Sat night was lit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is such an amazing restaurants. Not only it is the best fine dining I tried in cabos, but out of all the restaurants I tried around the world I could say this one is among top 10. The abience is so romantic. Service very friendly and knowledge about the food. The people who work here seems really passionate about their food. The food itself is ultra delicious, even the bread and the water . Price point is pretty reasonable for Cabo. Normal Cabo restaurant price. This place is so underated! Hope I can visit here again and try other items on the menu !

Fine dining. Excellent flavors and plating. Beautiful service - better than I've had in 3-star Michelin in France. I'd swim in the butternut squash soup. World-class night out at Solaz. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic experience at Al Pairo! We had dinner, brunch, and a private wine tasting here. Dinner - I would definitely encourage you to look into the Mexican wine selections! The waiter was very knowledgeable and brought us 2 Mexican wines that were amazing. Their homemade bread is the best I’ve ever had - specifically the focaccia and the mushroom tartes. For dinner we ordered the shrimp and catch of the day. Both were delicious and unique! For dessert we had the churro which was unbelievable. Can’t say enough good things about the food and service! Brunch - this was the hotel’s Sunday brunch which rotates locations. It was by far the best brunch we’ve ever had. They served bottomless cocktails and had 5 gourmet food stations. Not only that, but they bring around carts to your table for other special food experiences such as rosemary smoked wagyu, churros, and a tequila tasting. Wine tasting - we booked this directly through our artisan and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a one on one tasting with Richard, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the property and all of the wines they have available. We tasted 3 Mexican wines, each paired perfectly with an appetizer (wagyu, watermelon carpaccio, and ceviche. It was a priceless experience to get to pick his brain about the wine choices and learn about the region. Highly recommend!!
As with the rest of the Solaz, Al Pairo missed the mark. The food was average - the best part of the meal was dessert (we had the tamal chocolate and corn merengue desserts, which were awesome). The service was hit or miss - the worst was when one of the staff insisted that we sign our bill and hovered over us until we did so at the end of our meal. It was very awkward and not what one would expect from a fine-dining restaurant. He made us very uncomfortable and ended the dining experience on a sour note.

Increible! Al Pairo was amazing! Some of the best food and drink I've had in Cabo in a long time. You have to order "El Detalle" for a drink. Earl Grey with champagne and gin? Oh boy was it delicious and definitely order the "Tamale de Chocolate" for dessert. Wow! I would highly recommend driving to Solaz for this place. Delicious food, delicious drinks and amazing service. My wife and I will be back with all our Los Angeles friends soon. It's one of those rare places you have to share with people. The vibe, the food, the atmosphere---all amazing.

There is no better evidence of mastery in the kitchen than here, in all of Solaz! It outshines every other restaurant at this “upscale” resort; both in service and cheffery (made up word.) Mind boggling skills from top to bottom. Sunday Brunch? Redefining excellence!
