We are working in this area for the week and thought it was time to try this establishment. I know there is one near our house and I have never tried it. I was pleased to find out there was no meat in the veggies. I will just get the veggie plate next time for the fish which is the only meat I eat is not the best quality of fish. I thought the spicy broccoli was pretty darn delicious. I will say the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I most likely will eat here again at some point before I go back to St.petersburg Florida. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Really good fast food, it's like Boston Market Thanksgiving food; mashed potatoes, macaroni, fried fish, fried chicken, rolls etc. They do a bad job advertising, the building looks like a bank, I had no clue what they sell, brand recognition is everything & the reason Chik-Fil-A next door is full despite selling worse food. Abbay's does not post stock pictures of their food, they just say it's Southern, that can mean so many things. The dining room is like new too, you need pictures and signs outside advertising to passers by the specials, it cost $14 for the fish plate with three sides. I definitely will come back they deserve more business.

I’m so tired of paying top dollar for low quality food and lackluster customer service. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I like my food fresh and hot, but it seems like the employees of this restaurant are lazy and may like to prepare a certain amount of food ahead of time and just leave it on standby until the customers order it. They do even have the decency to put it under a heat lamp! This generation of people are just so lowdown, lazy and PATHETIC!!! And they’re the main ones who are voluntarily signing up to work in customer service jobs and they don’t have quality customer service skills and they haven’t been trained in quality cooking and don’t care about learning either. I was so mad this evening when I drove away from the drive-thru to find that my order was not right after I’d paid $20 of my hard earned money. They never like preparing the baked wings, which is the EASIEST thing on the menu to prepare, and they usually tell lies by saying they just ran out of the baked wings most times when I ask for them. This evening the baked wings were not hot at all and they lied by saying that they’d just made them 15 minutes earlier (a lie don’t care who tells it) and then they lied AGAIN after I asked if they had a microwave (every restaurant has a microwave) and they told me that they didn’t have a microwave…so I was left with cold baked wings. My mom got the fish sandwich. It was a fillet on a piece of wheat bread. The sandwich was tightly wrapped almost like a hot dog and the sauce made the bread soggy. The broccoli casserole was rice and cheese with a bit of broccoli. Neither was hot. It's a restaurant. Not a backyard fish fry...USE A BUN! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

My first time ever eating here and the food was amazing. I got the pork chop with mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, fried okra, and cornbread. The place was clean and the staff was nice and professional. I definitely will be back.

Loved the chicken strips but other veggie sides like broccoli rice casserole and cabbage had no seasoning. At least offer a seasoning pack with the meal.

Southern fast food. Interesting concept. And when they say fast food, they mean it. Food was ready before put my wallet back on my pocket. Meatloaf and 3 with an Iced tea for less than $10. And everything tastes great.
