The food was amazing. We went there to dine on a cold December day and right at the entrance we get greeted by a good old large fireplace warming us right away. All the atmosphere reminds us of ours grandfather’s house, warm and cozy. The staff is always there to help us. Although it may seem a bit pricey, the food is of good quality and the portions are enough. For sure you won’t leave feeling hungry. A place to return for sure. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Recommended by the Michelin Guide, this restaurant is inserted into a beautiful and huge estate in the middle of the countryside. The food is great and, like in most restaurants in the north of Portugal, the portions are huge. The wine list is really good, the staff is super friendly and the service is actually fast for this kind of restaurant. The parking is a bit... chaotic and anarchic. And the GPS might trick you when leading you to the restaurant because on one of two roads that takes you there, you better have an SUV or a 4x4. Other wise... it's going to get bumpy. Even so... definitely recommended and will come back, for sure. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Everything good, I just find that 18€ for the octopus starter is way to expensive. Also the living room could have some background music :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
The space was supper cozy and warm, it had an amazing fireplace and all the chairs were very comfortable. The food was great, the octopus at galega, the amazing smoked ham, the perfect “Sarrabulho” (rice with blood and several types of pork fried meat) Also for the desert I had the pudim of Abade priscos that was perfect. The service lacked a bit, we finish the starters before we get any wine and the smoked ham was only delivered to the table after the main dish was served. Felt the service was slow, even with the desert, and we were the last at the restaurant. Would expect a better service from such a beautiful place. On the outside there are very beautiful gardens, there are a lot a room to park cars, and we were lucky that there was a bright sunny day!
Great atmosphere in this old stone house. Very classy service, very nice staff. The food is also very good. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. I recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We went there to have desserts, drinks and spent some calm time and they did not want to serve us because they said they only serve full meals. So, if you go for tapas, desserts, drinks, this is not the place for you. Very dissapointed.

Pre-arranged a vegetarian option with the restaurant. When we arrived the staff told me starter was fresh mushrooms and main course was cooked mushrooms. Wow
Had a great meal at this restaurant, not the easiest location, but food was very delicious (had "arroz sarrabulho"). I recommend if you're visiting Ponte de Lima. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a stunning lunch of monkfish rice and octopus vinigerette to share. Food was spot on delicious, well seasoned and honest. The wonderful ingredients sung for themselves. Location is not very easy to find but well worth it, the surrounding grounds and restaurant itself are beautiful.
