509 Bake House made our wedding cake dreams come true! We custom ordered a 3-tiered carrot cake with a mixture of cream cheese and buttercream frosting. From planning to pick-up, they made the entire process stress-free. Thanks again to the team here for making our wedding celebration even more special.

We hired 509 Bake House for our wedding cakes. We ordered a traditional, cookies and cream tiered cake and a gluten-free lemon cake with raspberry filling. To be completely honest, I only had the bite at the cake cutting but we keep hearing from guests just how incredible they both were! They were moist and not too sweet. The delivery was seamless and the decorations, while simple, were stunning and just what we asked for!

Best cakes & pies I’ve ever had. I used them for my wedding to make a pie/cake (layers of pie mixed in with cake & pie crust on the outside) & it was hands down the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. Not only was it beautiful but everyone ranted & raved about it. The frosting is to die for. Most recently my husband had them make a snickerdoodle cake for my birthday & it was amazing. I will never buy another cake from anywhere else for an event. We live in gig harbor & make a point to stop every time we go to the east side. I can’t say enough good things about this place between the cakes, pies, & customer service you can’t go wrong!

Actual baked goods! Brownies, cupcakes, lemon bars, cinnamon rolls! All fresh and beautiful! Don’t miss them their sign is kind of hard to see but they are the best in town! Don’t go to Cle Elum bakery! They only have doughnuts.

I never write reviews. But I do not want anyone else to have the experience that I did the day before my wedding. When I ordered my cake originally back in may, the order was lost by the time I came to check in mid June for my wedding in late July. I figured stuff happens and we can just re order it. There happened to be the exact cake I wanted sitting in their fridge so when I was ordering… again, I had the girl come around to the fridge and showed her the cake and told her that is how I would like my cake decorated with gold detailing and naked. She asked if I wanted gold or silver and I said gold just like the one in the fridge. I watched her write it down, then we paid for the cake since prior they had told us to wait till closer to the wedding when we attempted to pay. When I walked in to pick up my cake it was VERY bad, it was nothing like I had asked for and had not a bit of gold on the cake. When I pointed this out and asked for it fixed I was given attitude and told I was a liar and I never asked for any gold to be on the cake even though I had three people with me when I ordered the cake for the second time, since the first order vanished. I asked for the manger for the first time in my life and the girl went in the back where I could hear them very clearly talking about how I’m a liar and just trying to get the cake decorated for free due to me not being able to afford it. However I could afford it or I would have made the cake myself. Then after they continued to talk badly about me where I could hear them clearly one of them said “she’s right at the counter and can probably hear us” after at least half an hour to 45 minutes of me standing here while they all sat in the back someone came up with more attitude and I offered to pay more money for them to fix it. I ended up just telling them to give me my cake since I had paid a month prior and I was so shocked by the awful service I was given. I have never had such awful service in my life and it honestly ruined my rehearsal dinner and the morning of my wedding since the cake was so bad I had to have a friend make a brand new cake which was stunning and so much more well made than the cake that I received from 509. Then I found out that my friend who got married in June had a similar experience with them and that they had canceled her entire wedding cake and cupcakes the week before her wedding without telling her. I’m hearing more and more horror stories about this shop the more I listen and I do not want anyone else dealing with this.

I had the dessert for my wedding done by 509 Bake House recently and felt like an honest review was due. The cake is always delicious at 509, and the brownies, lemon bars, and more are done perfectly. However, the service was just not acceptable. I had a family member pick up desserts on the day of the wedding and when they entered the store they were ignored for multiple minutes only to be greeted by a harsh and unfriendly acknowledgement. There was no customer service, no kindness, and that was directly from the owner. The cake was meant to be naked and ended up being covered in a thick layer of frosting which turned me off it. I usually have such high recommendations for them as I worked there for several years, but the service has truly gone down. I just wanted to give an open and honest review, food is fabulous if you don’t mind being treated with mediocre service.

Amazing! Tried so many thing's.. stopped in on a whim Saturday and went back Sunday for treats to take home... I got the pepperoni cheese bread too and that was gone before a picture could be taken lol

509 Bake House is my favorite bakery! Tons of options in store. And whenever I order a cake they do an amazing job! Couldn’t recommend a better place to get desserts or a cake for any event!

Here’s an honest review….my daughter and future son in law went to pick up their wedding cake and it was absolutely not good!! It was supposed to be white bottom chocolate top and it was not!! When they questioned the appearance of the cake and the flavoring they were EXTREMELY RUDE and could not have cared less of their disastrous “cake”….they asked to speak management but they refused to speak with her!! Now that’s an honest review!! The whole 509 Bakery experience was like non other we have ever experienced before!! BAD
