I like this bar and have had excellent customer service from Jamie the bartender here. She always remembers my drink and is attentive to her customers plus the food is good. I appreciate Jamie every time I'm there and she calls me by my proper name. Thank you, now lower beer prices would be nice , lol. Go there from time to time but went last night with a friend the bartender with the dark hair was very rude and refused to serve us because she was having a bad day. ! She said he manager name is liz and will be back Tuesday after 9 then she told us to get out!! She was very rude !!! The guy that works the kitchen was very nice and apologized for her behavior ! I love going to 501 for some quick drinks and/or a game of pool. Pool tables are a lot nicer than most other places around town. Good atmosphere. Download the "touchtunes" mobile app before going to enjoy your favorite music. (Liz is one of the best bartenders there!) Cute little out of the way pub, friendly group of patrons. It's easy to feel comfortable here, People are lively, singing along with the music, dancing, overall a pleasant atmosphere. The food takes a bit, but it's good bar food, and the menu offers a nice selection. The bartenders are friendly and on their toes. Prices are reasonable for both drinks and food. There are 4 well-kept pool tables, and several league teams call this place home. While the area around the bar is quite dark, the pool tables are well lit. Smoking is permitted, and the establishment definitely gets to such a level of smoke that it becomes difficult to breathe as the night wears on. Overall, I dont think i would have just happened upon this place, it's a pretty well-hidden secret, but if you are looking for a place for pool or to go grab a drink and a bite, it's not a bad secret to know.
