A highlight of our trip, wish we had this place back home! Nice staff and customers, friendly and welcoming. We longed for a nice lobster, and this is indeed the place to get it. Started with the 25 EC$ pork ribs which were delicious, nice sauce, back home this cut would be called “riblets.” Nice sized portion for 2 people. Believe server said lobster ran from 80 EC$ to a max of about 160 EC$, we ordered 1 “big one.” Well, it was huge in our view, but apparently not as big as they come as we paid 120 EC$, thank goodness we did not get the 160 EC$ as we were crazy full after eating the mid-sized one (see photos). Maybe the server kindly spared us the too big version, we think so because she was nice and really took care of us. Beautiful lobster wonderfully prepared, with good sides 15 EC$ total for two, loved the lentils and the rice. When we paid our bill, we were very politely told NOT to add a tip, despite there was no service charge. To us a great value and a great memory, too bad we cannot visit regularly but when we do return to St Vincent this will be our first stop. Also, if your senses shy you away from places that lack an expensive sign or are a bit rustic looking as this was, consider putting that aside and eating here, you’ll be happy you did.

Grilled Lobster
Loved the steamed veg, breadfruit and rice, and I would have loved the lobster too, had it a) been the price I was originally quoted and b) not way overcooked. The girls were friendly, but didn’t give me the real rate. Don’t dare asking for citrus, either, but their hot pepper sauce is a great condiment/replacement. Would have loved to have a better experience as 4 Shells came highly recommended.

Amazing seafood place. Everything was so delicious that we had to come back the next day. The fish was fresh and the flavor was excellent. The prices were very good in relation to the quality and quantity you get. One warning though is that if you come during peak hours and there’s lots of people you will have to wait A LOT. We waited more than an hour to get the food. But it was worth it in the end

4 Shells is located by where the fishermen do their thing, so me thinks the fish are fresh today. 4 Shells from the outside is typical Caribbean in the sense of no frills and basic, what it has in abundance is charm and personality and friendly service.
The food where do I start, my choice was fried Snapper with rice and peas, vegetables, salad, and pasta, the fish has to have its own plate it’s so big, the portion size of the food was generous, thanks, the fish was amazing, it was tasty , it was crispy just how I like it.
These guys know how to cook, this is a gem of a place to eat, the food on offer and the quality is seriously good, and let’s come onto the price, I have not encountered such a lot for so little, this is so reasonably priced, no wonder the locals keep this little gem of an eatery so quiet

Tasty fresh fish and lobster amongst other items. Service is great, and portions are great. However, the atmosphere needs to be updated for a place that's really well reviewed.

The best fish I've ever had! Fresh from the sea! Full of flavour. Have patience because good food takes time to cook. Get the Snapper if you're dining with a group. Tuna was good too!

If you are in the locality of this restaurant, then it is a must to try. The portion size is extremely generous. The fish is perfectly cooked. The tuna fish, is the best I've eaten. The decor is very rustic old cabin looking. There is parking outside and it's based on ground level with no steps. Cold beverages and alcohol is served here. They also serve BBQ chicken and a few other meats, which you can have with fries, or rice, it's suitable for children and the whole family. The price is cheap for the amount of food and the quality is excellent. The service is fantastic, Regina is lovely and friendly. Overall excellent place to eat. Definitely 5* rating.

This restaurant should be top of your list of places to eat/dine. Located in fishing village, you are guaranteed to get the best fresh seafood imaginable. For my short stay in St Vincent, I frequented here for every meal. All the dishes that I tried were delicious. Here are my favorites: grilled lobster, steamed fish, bbq pig tail and pan fried fish. If you’re looking for a good and affordable home cooked meal while in St Vincent, go to 4 Shells and tell them that I sent you.
