The best bar! The drinks are amazing and you can tell that they’re great bartenders as the drinks taste and look outstanding! We even ordered passionfruit and strawberry mojito (not on the menu) and they didn’t hesitate to make them! The staff is super friendly and the location very pretty and cosy. Stayed there for the whole afternoon and even got a free Maltese shot (with cactus liqueur, tastes a bit like watermelon). They don’t have food but you can ask for pizza, but you have to eat them inside.

Small bar, with an amazing outdoor location. Staff very nice and friendly. One of the guys helped one of the tourists passing by with a big baggage. The cocktail pretty good, but ordered Aperol spritz so nothing special :)) the atmosphere is very pleasant, with the view on the stairs down and up, with latino music. Recommend. Note- the only minus compared to other locations is that there is no happy hour- as for almost all the bars/cafes in Valletta.

Loved this place! Amazing innovative cocktails, beautiful vibe sitting outside on St Lucia St. Even the mock-tails were delicious and unique. Go here after dinner, you won’t regret it

This is a very nice bar on a beautiful street in Valetta, Malta. A great place to sit and people watch. My Negroni was excellent. Will return.

Down the steps.. approximately 33 you will find 33 Steps. It has a speakeasy vibe without having to have a secret code or find a hidden door. 33 steps down from its sister property San Paolo Naufrago, 33 Steps is a great cocktail spot that serves the same DELICIOUS food as San Paolo Naufrago. With a DJ booth in the corner, this bar/lounge’s decor is clean but classic. The color palette are shades of green ranging from deep kelly green chairs and tiled bar to sage colored side chairs. There is an “accent” wall with flower patterned wallpaper while the remaining walls stay within the color scheme with specifically placed artwork and knickknacks. Creative cocktail menu that is full of the standards and some innovative original ones like the Malta Long Island (pictured below). Both the waiter and bartender were personable and funny. Didn’t have to wait for my drink order to be taken or served (and it was packed). And let’s just say the music playing in the background ranged from Kool and the Gang, Bill Withers, The Marvelettes to Stevie Wonder. Let me put it this way. This would be THE SPOT I’d bring my girls Fallon Kubecka and Jessica Morris to START and END the night. If you are in Valletta and stop by. If you don’t, you will definitely miss out on an experience.

33 steps is a very nice bar located in a charming stairs street of Valetta. The cocktails prepared by Alphonce are simply outstanding! All the staff is very nice and smiling! I recommend it 100% 💕
