Found this place thru the Beitou city map’s recommendation. Although menu is written in traditional Chinese, you can easily ask the ladies at the counter for recommendations. Love the scones and home-made butter cream and lemon curd. Super awesome! The Queen’s version of earl grey was pretty as well. Be it to come alone for own reading/journalling or with friends for chit chat or study, one would definitely enjoy their time here. Wide selection of exquisite tea and coffee from UK, you will love your afternoon time here!

Classic Scone
The best brunch place in Xinbeitou so far. The atmosphere inside is very cozy and inviting. I love to have brunch here. my favorite is Smoked Salmon or lemon chicken. The desserts here are very amazing. I tried carrot cake (blow my mind) and blueberry pie (so fresh, crispy and hot)
The setting for tea is so beautiful 😍

Lemon Chicken Breast
worst scone (earl’s grey flavored) I’ve ever had, super dry and the texture is way too dense. Id feel embarrassed if I were the owner to serve such terribly made pastry.
Love the ambience of the place tho, so a real shame that the scone was soooo bad!

The tea is just from Twinnings Tea bags, was the reason for the low score.
If you're a local, I can see why you like this place. But if you're not, the food is quite plain and okay, nothing bad and nothing good. The coffee is alright but some of the tea is quite expensive since they're not loose tea leaf or anything but just a bag of twinnings. The tea menu have a section that says 'Twinnings', I chose something outside out of those category but still got a bag of twinnings. The tea price was 160, I don't think it was worth it at all. The place is cozy, but quite small.

I’m their cinnamon apple 🍎 scone’s super fan!! Cannot stop it. Order it every time!! Also the Godiva chocolate milk is a super drink for me (totally adult flavor), love it so much!! 💜💜💜
Overall the experience was good but there are some aspects I really didn't like.
1. So basically you have to order for at least 150ntd per person. No problem with that.
We were 2 and we initially ordered two medium flat whites and 1 original waffle for a total of 440ntd which is more than 150ntd/person. But the staff told me that the waffle counts for only one person. Since the flat white costs 140ntd, I was asked to spend more so that each person spent more than 150ntd. I don't get it but maybe I am not used to this.
2. The service was very very slow. The staff was not busy but it took more than 10 minutes for the flat whites. And it didn't taste like one. I wasn't in the rush so I don't mind that much.
3. The waffles were a little bit undercooked.
The place is very cute and confortable but these aspects ruined my experience. It was a bit pricey for me but the place is ok.

The scone with hand-made apple sauce is really fantastic.
Lovely place with very nice and healthish breakfast. The coffee is also decent, better than I thought it might be in a tea room. Friendly staff. Wanna try their tea and scones next time!
Cute little cafe, the scone is decent here. I would give it a five star, but the owner took a smoking break right outside the cafe and the cigarette smoke came in the cafe.
