I came to lobby lounge for the Christmas tea event. It was a wonderful event. Tea was good. Food was good. Kids food looked great. I didn't think the kids food was anything special for the price. The kids did was prepped early and the breads were already drying out. The adult food was good, but wasn't enough. Desserts were in point and delicious. We went here for afternoon tea and it was an excellent experience. The ambiance was calming and the food (Winter 2024 menu) was excellent. They don't offer a lot of tea options but I think it's a good thing because too much option can be daunting. My favorite item was the scones. It was one of the best scones I've had. LA doesn’t have many higher end afternoon tea options, so this one definitely stands out as one of the best. The foods, which were seasonal, were delicious and the tea was pleasant. We went on weekday morning and it was almost empty before noon, so we got one of the nice tables by the window. People started rolling in around lunch time. I can imagine the weekends are a little bit more crowded and might not have a great selection for seating (even with reservation). Great service here as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here for high tea and felt it was good but not amazing. The tiered plates had great scones, finger sandwiches, pastries. Definitely a ton of food and filling. What bothered me is that even though we had booked a reservation far in advance, we still had to wait for a table, and the prettier half of the hall had been blocked off for a private party.
