Began throwing up within 15 minutes of eating, girlfriend too. I don't post reviews, but I have never had this happen to me in my life. We both noticed too much refried beans, then shortly after started having upset stomachs and hurling. Edit: it finally stopped an hour later. We each ate no more than half. It was 100% the beans. Since I can't respond to comments, it was your beans. We had different items and that was the only thing in common. Very rude of you to respond the way you did. This place has great food, we really enjoy the food and the service is great. The Sopapilla are delicious. We have visited multiple times. It is a small restaurant w maybe 6 to 8 tables. The good is great and the folks who own and staff it are so nice! I have never had a bad meal here. The food is cooked to order and it can take a minute or two, but you are not getting something stale that has been sitting underneath heat lamps forever. Come check them out! A small cafe. However, table service is provided. We visited because it appears to be one of very few "authentic" New Mexican food. The Chile Verde burrito was delicious. It was huge and shareable. I ate my leftovers with eggs at home the following morning. Still great! Or, you can order it plated with rice and beans. The menu has many wonderful dishes. We had the dulce de leche sweet soppapillas for dessert. Next time we will try the savory ones. My friend ordered the Navajo Taco which looked delicious in a puffy, crispy taco shell. A must if you want to order something typical of New Mexican food. Can't wait to go back. It is similar to Mexican food, but slightly different and worth a try if you are unfamiliar.
