Waiter was great, but we ended up with 3 different servers. Portions of our meal were not brought until we inquired. Very busy, which is a testament to their food, but this last visit was unusually less than a 5 star rating, although it won't deter from a return in the near future. after a few bites I cut into the middle of my rotten potato. Lost my appetite so took the rest of my meal home. When asked the manager for a discount (not a free meal) as I did not want another one she said we replace it that is how we handle these situations and walked away! not happy with her tone or response! We got the grilled chicken, country fried sirloin, beef tips, and the veg platter. The sirloin was great and sides were amazing! The beef tips were cooked at the right temperature. The veg platter was great! The waitress was so sweet and so great. If someone asked me how much time I had to wait for a salad I would not recommend waiting for an hour and a half. My food came out cold, colder then when my father told me he hated me for being born. Because everyone loves cold steak when they go to Texas Roadhouse. I also didn't receive any silverware until my meal came out, so apparently I'm supposed to eat a salad with my bare hands I'm sure the other customers would appreciate me doing that. The service was a little slow but considering she was somewhat new we will let that slide. My favorite part of this experience is when I put into the back corner of a building and forgotten, left to die like a diseased animal. And when I got my steak and asked for no onions they doubled my onions. How wonderful! I made sure to leave them behind for the chef to experience his Sauteed onions. As much water as they brought over I felt like I was swimming in the Nile River. And shortage of coffee left my friends on edge. This was my first time coming to a Texas Roadhouse and I enjoyed my experience. The service is excellent they even gave me complementary peanuts for my first visit. The rolls with cinnamon butter are excellent and the smokehouse burger is very good. The blooming onion is decent and the ambience is excellent. The prices are also very reasonable I would highly recommend Texas Roadhouse. Absolutely amazing I was there on My Birthday weekend. I ordered a 20 ounce Prime rib accompanied by 2 skewers of grilled shrimp with a fully stuffed baked potato! We stopped in to this Texas Roadhouse location while passing through Altoona visiting a relative. The service was very good, and our server was always checking on us with a good attitude. The food came out quick and was well prepared. I had the All American Cheeseburger. It was cooked well and tasted good. My son had the pulled pork, and we also had the 6oz sirloin.
