My husband and I tried this for the first time tonight. Our waiter, Ehab, was absolutely amazing. Explained the menu to us first timers, kept our drinks filled, and wasn't over bearing. He was friendly and very wonderful to work with. The food was quite delicious. We tried 3 different empanadas and I would come back just for those. Everything about this beautiful restaurant was a ten out of ten. The service was impeccable, the wine was incredible, the food was to die for and if that wasn’t enough for you the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It feels like you’ve taken a trip to a different world when you walk through the doors. There’s not a lot of places that you can find in the Midwest that make you want to dress up fancy and have an incredible evening so Tarquin is a really special spot. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to step outside of their comfort zone a little and try some new incredible food and get the best service in Sioux Falls! One of my favorite place in town. I always come here when I crave some meat! 🥩 🥩 If you order Parrillada Argentina, you would get a giant plater (size ~3 people) that have random type of meat in it, all very flavorful! However, like other reviewer said, the meat could be charcoally. You might or might not like it, but it what makes the food! I say it worth to try at least once! I went to Tarquin for my birthday a couple of of months ago. It was a delightful experience. The food was fantastic, the ambience was great, and the service was top notch. My daughters and I had a wonderful time enjoying the delicious meals and being able to hear each other in conversation. One of the best wine selections you'll find anywhere as well. First time here, but seeing the food coming out as you're waiting... makes the mouth water. We started with empanadas, and i could have just stuck with them. So good. I had the lamb chops, cooked to perfection, and it comes with a small salad on the plate and two sides. I opted for the mashed potatoes. Smooth as silk and real butter. Portion sizes are almost to much, but for such good food, it's worth it. My wife had the skirt steak, with the potatoe pie.....I don't know who had the best meal they were both GREAT. The staff was on top of their game, glasses were full, questions answered, and then.....dessert.......best way to finish off a heavy meat meal, I went with some Lemmon cake. So good fresh, and cleared the pallet. Great seating and not so loud you couldn't have a comfortable conversation. I will be going back, it is a great place, a hidden gem. Wonderful dinner! Steak was cooked correctly, but an average cut. The veggies were also wonderful except some of the carrots could have been cooked longer. Other than those two things everything was absolutely wonderful. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Wow!! This place is going on our frequent visit list. The owner came out and sang opera at the end of the meal. The food is great. They have a dish for anyone. Steaks are big and juicy. If you haven't tried this yet you need to go try it. Went on Saturday evening for dinner. Another great visit. Ribeye, blue was spot on. Skirt steak, medium was also wonderful. Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal. Have you tried a glass of Torrontos by Chacabao? You will order a bottle after your first glass. We are taking a piece of chocolate cake with Bavarian creme to go. We get the first piece of this cake. I can wait to get to these leftovers. This place is something you'd find in a much larger city like Minneapolis or Denver. The food has immense flavor and is well crafted. Their service is fantastic. I couldn't decide what to order and they told me there was a chefs choice. They said this was a fairly common choice and asked what I liked and didn't like. Out came a 10/10 meal with beef ribs. I seldomly recommend restaurants but this one was top notch!!! I had such an awesome experience. Im a solo traveler and love to treat myself to the best restaurants the city im visiting has. The owner is very friendly and makes sure the food is to the customers satisfaction. This place made me feel super welcomed and special. Pictures from the first brunch offered at Tarquin the pastries were such a delight, the food was savory and my small children ate up the ravioli and these ham and hashbrown bites. So delicious as always, check their Facebook page for specials, events, and more opportunities on another wonderful brunch.
