I can’t say enough good things about sweets on main!! I have now been getting my cakes, cookies, cupcakes from them for a couple years now!! Everything is so delicious and always make what I’m imagining come true !! From the taste to the look everything is perfect!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We recently celebrated my dad’s 90th birthday with a lunch at a local restaurant who suggested Sweets on Main for the cake. Sarah was so accommodating, responded quickly and made great suggestions. The chocolates mousse cake was out of this world. Seriously the best chocolate cake any of us experienced. Support local! You’ll be sweetly pleased!!

The ladies from Sweets on Main were very accomodating when I ordered shortly before my daughter's party. They followed my requests to the T, and the guests raved about the desserts: delicious vanilla cupcakes and chocolate cake pops. Yum! Thank you!! We'll be back.

Absolutely LOVED the cookies! Ordered about 45 cookies that were The Office themed for my sister's bachelorette and they were an absolutely enormous hit! Also ordered DIY decorating kits that I gave out as favors and those went over well. Ordered the cookies a little on the late side but the shop was able to fit them in! Even threw in an extra mug cookie that my sister laughed at and loved. They all were really delicious as well! Looked fantastic and tasted great, couldn't ask for better. Talking to the shop was great too they were friendly and more than happy to work with my requests. Would absolutely order from them again.

We had heard of sweets on main recommended by other newly weds and we are so happy we went forward with the them as our something sweet and delicious! We went with a naked 3 tier cake with the raspberry compote, it was light refreshing and perfect way to feel like light with something sweet and spend the rest of the night to the dance floor! Our venue was lawn club in new haven, and the cake delivery was seamless. Scheduling the tasting and being there was an adorable date for us, and once we tried the combo for the delicious cake they helped us with making our vision come true! Sweets on Main worked with our florist Agnew Florist.

Sarah and Donna are a remarkable team. From day one of planning, they truly heard our vision and brought it to life. Everything was discussed via e-mail, but they made us feel like we were their only clients. We had a Couples Shower at a local brewery and ordered 6 mix/matched cupcakes and a one tier naked cake. They beautifully matched our color scheme and flavored our one tier cake with our favorite thing…. espresso. We expected great things, but we’re blown away with our dessert table. They even offered to add our fresh flowers to the cake upon delivery, which pulled it all together. Thank you again. See you at the next event!

When Sugar Bakery told me that they stopped making their coconut cake, I was devastated. So, I quickly searched for another coconut cake and found Sweets on Main. When I called them, they were so nice and understanding. They even said, "We can make anything that you'd like." I wasn't sure that I wanted the lemon curd and the coconut cake but they convinced me to give it a try given that it was one of their top sellers. I am so glad that I trusted them. This was my wedding cake and there were a lot of folks that were expecting a knock your socks off experience. This cake delivered. The cake was absolutely fabulous. The cake was completely devoured so I wasn't able to save a few slices to re-visit on our anniversary but I will be sure to return for that cake and also can't wait to try to some of their other goodies. It makes me feel good to support a wonderful local business and this one definitely deserves the 5 star praise.

I have no words for how incredible Sarah and her team are at Sweets on Main. They made the cake for my bridal shower this July (2021) and it was so beautiful we used them for our wedding this past weekend as well (09/26/2021). Not only did she make 2 beautiful cakes for us, but she took our family recipe and made Buckeyes, which was such a special and personal touch for our wedding that our guests and family loved so much. They were so good that people were pocketing the desserts and we ran out so quickly! I can't thank them enough - everything was delicious!!

We used Sweets on Main for our wedding cake and LOVED it! Sarah was incredibly accommodating and the cake came out looking wonderful! Our guests were still talking about the cake the next morning. Highly recommend using Sweets on Main for your cake needs.
