First stop of my 9 hr trip home from Birmingham. Ordered online and arrived in perfect timing to pick up my coffee and breakfast sandwich. Bathrooms were clean, and the staff was happy and friendly. It was also a stand alone starbucks with double drive thru and passing lane. Definitely a good stop. I had already had a bad day personally, I went to get some coffee to keep me going and the young lady that waited on me was great. She helped with my order, she hoped my day got better, and when I got my coffee she had placed a cookie next to it with a message... "Hope your day gets better". I hate I didn't get her name but it truly did help me. I cried in my car a little but overall to see there are still compassionate people in the world makes a difference. I have been a patron of Starbucks many years. BEWARE OF THIS STORE. This location: ignored at the door. Ignored at the register. Order looked right. Ordered on the app. Got down the road and on my first sip spit it out. Customer service was so terrible I wouldn’t return even to correct my coffee. Is this the way Starbucks as a whole is headed? Staff is professional, polite and attentive. I spent several mornings here while my work office was being setup. The few times my order was incorrect or I was overcharged, the team promptly addressed and corrected without issue. Enjoying seeing the manager is proactive in costumer service and new employee training. Store is clean, frequented by locals and those in the area for work (like myself). Highly recommend for prompt, reliable Starbucks service.

Great new location, so it looks, in the Clanton area. Friendly staff, spot on drinks, and two drive thru lanes are some of the highlights of this extremely clean place. Everyone here is still pretty new but seem to be learning fast. My drink was made hot when I asked for ice but they seemed pretty willing to remake it for me. I then realized I forgot to ask for flavor in my latte so I walked back to the counter to order a short cup with syrup in it. I planned to pay for it and add it to my own coffee since I messed up that part of my order. The gentleman named Shaine at the counter asked how many pumps I wanted & offered to just give it to me. When he told the batista next to him to add 2 pumps of chai to my drink she said "She can't just keep adding stuff to her drink" and then added way too much chai to my drink. I couldn't drink it and threw it in the garbage after I left. Hopefully once everyone is trained my next visit will go more smoothly & people will keep their rude comments to themselves 👍🏼
