This place has really good service but in my opinion the food lacks a bit of flavor. We enjoyed a recent visit with friends, reservation was easily made for 8 people the same day on a Saturday, and waiters were very attentive. So this was the great part. Side dishes were pretty good but the meats, despite marinated and good quality, were bland. Also, the place is a bit loud, I guess for the nice interaction around the table grills but if you are expecting some place quiet this won't be one. Smoke was another issue, since you grill at the tables the place gets filled with smoke pretty easy and your clothes will have an "after campfire" smell. We went there to celebrate a special event with many friends. We ordered all you can eat. Food is good overall. However, the guy who served us messed us our order and gave us something we have to pay extra for. When we mentioned it’s not what we wanted, he was not sorry about it at all and insisted to leave the extra order on our table. We had to pay for it. Also, we got no lettuce at all. Before we left, we saw other tables all have lettuce. We asked for the reason. The staff told us that our order didn’t come with it. Not sure what that means given that we ordered All You Can Eat. Easily one of my favorite date night meals - EVER. Service is fast and friendly. Tables and restrooms super clean. Food - AMAZING! Would recommend to anyone looking for a very delicious dinner out with friends, family or a date. Family friendly, date night friendly, and group dinner friendly. Delicious kbbq served real Korean servers and by Korean, which means absolutely awesome service! Food is delicious! There's seems be a lot of fake kbbq but this is real. Restaurant aesthetics is superb. Probably need to reserve a table it gets busy! The service was really outstanding and that makes up for the food which was good , but not great. This is similar to many Korean barbecue restaurants. You will find with a grill at the table. The difference is that they actually do the cooking for you at the table. Our waitress worked hard and really had to hustle just to service a few tables. The food was good but not great. We had a small child so they put us in a isolated room on the side of the restaurant. The room was cold when we arrived so I let one of the managers know who immediately made a thermostat adjustment which made the environment much much better. We went for our anniversary dinner and got the Wagyu beef sampler. One of the managers, Ethan, came over to cook it personally to ensure we had the best experience possible, while also making sure everything else was running smoothly on a busy night. One of my favorite Korean bbq in the NOVA area. Pricing is on par with others-their meat selection isn’t the highest quality but isn’t low either. Several delicious small plates-an all-you-can-eat menu offering as well. Friendly staff who will grill the meat for you-or you can opt to do it yourself. Large open dining space-plenty room for large parties-plenty of ventilation so you won’t smell like grill smoke when leaving. It is Sō good here! Their meats are excellent especially the brisket and the Sam Gyup Sal. Their soy dip is amazing. The vibe is so chill and the seating arrangements are great! I love the open layout that they have and definitely a great time with friends and family and worth every penny! Plus, they have All-You-Can-Eat! I recently dined at So Korean BBQ and I must say, it was an experience like no other. I would highly recommend skipping breakfast and wearing elastic pants, as the all-you-can-eat options are sure to fill you up! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating available. The service was also good, with friendly and attentive staff.
