Just finished the best ever sea bass which I usually find not my favorite. It was prepared perfectly, on risotto with spinach and delicious. The hamachi crudo was perfect as well. My partner had the salmon also prepared perfectly. Lovely evening. Love this place.

One of the best places for brunch or dinner in the South Bay. The ambiance on both the upper deck and lower patio are wonderful especially during sunset. For brunch I highly recommend the chilaquiles and steak sandwich! And the Slay Rose is a crowd pleaser!

Worth a five for food, less than, but also much better than most places at this price point. The Broiled Oyster are great, only too salty if you taste the salt they are presented in. The Pan Roasted Carrots are also good, some were more cooked than others. Definitely use the sauce (especially the herbs) they were broiled in. The Tomato & Watermelon Salad was as expected. It was refreshing, very reminiscent of caprese salad in flavor. The Bone Marrow Risotto really needed salt. I just used the salt that was holding my oysters in place.

Broiled Oysters
Inept, preposterous and degrading - this is one of the worst dinner choices you might make in this zip code, but not for the typical reasons. The food is actually OK, not terrible but not terrific, the location is super A plus, almost unbeatable. But what puts it over the top in the unforgettable department is the total contempt in which the staff holds the diners - you are the unwitting burlesque show on their secret stage. So don’t feel bad, they hated you before you even got there.
A genuinely stupid experience for both sides concerned, and a waste of beautiful real estate.

Excellent service by Tatum. Food was above average. Generous serving of smoked salmon on toast, delicious broccolini with my breaded sole. Everything was good and the place was perfect for a weekend walk along the strand after dining!

It was a year ago but so new then, they weren’t on Google yet. But better late than never. Me and my daugther had a wonderful evening with great food. We had such nice conversations with the guests and felt very “local” in Hermosa. Then we needed a taxi, but forgot to bring cash. I had trouble with my Card and with Uber. So the lovely owner gave us 20 dollar to get safe to the hotel. If you trust your guests this much you deserve way more than 5 stars. I hope you are all doing well and thanks again for making sure we got home safe 😍
