We stopped in after a quick trip to the nearby Ikea. The food was good. The salad bar appeared very fresh which is not always the case with some locations. The shining star though was our server Tianna. She was so pleasant, checked back often to ensure we had everything we needed. Would come back when passing through again and would specifically request her as a server if she was working. The food here is fairly generic but fine for mandatory fish on a Lenten Friday. The server was exquisite. She really checked and was very attentive and friendly. I wish I had caught her name. Convenient to the AMC theater in the mall across the way and walking distance to the electric chargers if you are charging your cars in the parking lot across the street. My wife and I had dinner at Ruby Tuesday in Elizabeth. We were welcomed by a great smile. Behind the smile was Jules. Courteous, professional, delightful and just plain nice. A breath of fresh air. She new the menu and had great ideas for our dinner choices. I am a firm believer that in a restaurant your server can make or break the dinner experience. I haven't been to Ruby Tuesday in years. We decided to come here after hearing they reopened. The only thing great about this visit was our server John. He was the only person serving the bar area and the tables around the bar and it was a little busy at the time. Although he was busy, he was great. The portions of the food have dwindled while the prices have gone up tremendously. My friend received a burger and fries that looked like it should've been on the kids menu. It was ridiculously small. The price of the salad bar is 3 times what it use to be. Ruby Tuesday also needs better happy hour prices. They had a very small happy hour menu with not alot of great choices. Overall the food was ok, but not great for the price we paid. Will definitely not be returning to this Ruby Tuesday again.
