This used to be our favorite coffee place with amazing cakes. Our last visit they only had 3 cakes to select from and told us they will not assort as many cakes as they used to. On top of that we had 2 slices and they started charging $10 per slice which is ridiculous considering you can buy whole cake for $20 in HEB. We ended up paying $37 for two cakes and two cappuchinos. Not mentioning when we asked for spoons they offered us plastic spoons. Very poor experience, we are not planning on visiting this place anytime soon. Dakota was awesome! He helped me to get coffee within my low-budget price point, and even introduced me to the "café ole" experience. I came to work remotely and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, and free refills. I'll definitely be back, and hopefully early enough to taste the food, too!
