Just had dinner with the 6 of us… absolutely fantastic restaurant. The restaurant has a nice vibe, the staff are amazing… and the food really is top notch. In all my years of living in Holland this restaurant is up there with one of the best dining experiences in the country…. I lived near Amersfoort for nearly 10 years and never discovered this place while I was here… even though I no longer live here I will definitely be back. Food is amazing (and reasonably priced!) but service is extraordinary. We feel welcomed the minute we walked in. My personal favorite is piri piri chicken - even the small portion is very filling - and sweet potato fries. They also have a few options for kids that are not in menu - like chicken nuggets. It's been a long time since I've had the pleasure of rating a restaurant with five stars. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and warm. A nice open bar and a great wooden floor. The kitchen can be seen and experienced in the second part of the restaurant. The staff is friendly and fast. Let me repeat that - the staff is friendly and fast! Even after 2 years of covid, the staff has remained friendly, attentive and fast. Before I ordered I got some bread an aioli which is amongst the best I've had. The carpaccio was fresh and cut from a real side of beef. The main course, the goulash and deer steak, was simply wonderful. Steak tartare is wonderful (hold the truffle mayo for me), the salmon and tuna salad is great and so is the rest of the menu. Highly recommended! The one thing that could be improved is some sound dampening as it can get really loud even with only a few tables occupied. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–40

I can finally say i found my absolute favorite place in the Netherlands! The place in itself is super cute and cozy. The food and the wines were excepcional: you could clearly see that the dishes were well thought out (even the marinated olives were amazing!) , they use fresh ingredients and are cooked by skilled chefs. Everything was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The waiter really hyped up the place and they definitely delivered. The food was great, the service was great, the place was great….what else can i say…a gem!

A must go in Amersfoort ! Excellent food. An explosion of flavours in mouse. Top class wine you can get by the glass. Great service. Kindness and attention. I can't explain to myself I miss it until today?!

Actually it's not quite 5 stars in my opinion but definitely more than 4. Front of house staff is excellent and manages a level of attention and hospitality normally associated with a much more expensive restaurant. Dishes, I like the concept you can order things in a small or large size and create your own menu. Grilled oysters: bit heavy on the pepper but strangely enough that works really well! Coconut curry soup: warming, creamy, tasty. Very nice. Mackerel and lentils: the best dish of the evening. Really well balanced and the combination works unexpectedly well. Carpaccio: I'd ordered beetroot and got normal. Nothing wrong with it but not exceptional either. Ratatouille burger: no, mistake. The burger patty was ok but the bun was horrible and the whole thing got soggy. That one needs a rethink. Beef courses were done really well. Personally I'm not a fan of dusting shoestring fries with spices but it's trendy. Dessert: I don't think they've quite mastered that yet. It's not bad but seems to lack inspiration. Pace of the service was a bit slow for me but that could have been due to the horrible chairs. All in all, nice place, good service, like the small neighborhood feel of the place. I think if they'd rethink the desserts and dump the odd under performing dish they could earn a Michelin mention.

Cozy restaurant (for everyone 😉) with a very good selection of sea food. Also a lot of non sea food dishes available. One can choose a multiple of small dishes to share. Absolutely recommended for a nice meal for a nice price. Very friendly staff which give a lot of personal attention!

Was taken here for my birthday, we were with a group of four. Small place with passionate staff. The food is really good but the portions are very small. I had meat and my wife veggie options, we were both still hungry when we went home. So food is good but value for money is not great as the prices are above average.
