De Beren was utterly appalling. Our group consisted of 2 children and 8 adults. Despite our punctual arrival at 5:30 PM, we endured an excruciating wait until 7:10 PM before our main course graced our table. To exacerbate matters, it was infuriating to witness other groups, arriving later than us, being promptly served ahead of our long-suffering party. Each time we inquired about our order, we were met with the hollow reassurance that our food would be 'ready in a couple of minutes,' only to be continually disappointed. Adding insult to injury, a portion of our meal failed to meet our specifications. The vegetarian chicken satay was so grossly overcooked that it resembled a rubber tire rather than a palatable dish. Upon reporting this culinary catastrophe, we were met with further frustration as we were subjected to an additional 30-minute wait for a replacement. Even the simplest request, such as an icebreaker for the children, proved to be an arduous ordeal, requiring an intolerable wait of 25 minutes. And as if the culinary calamity wasn't enough, our dismay was compounded at the checkout when we discovered an egregious shortage of fries. Only after vehemently voicing our dissatisfaction were we informed of the parsimonious policy of one serving of fries per two patrons, with additional portions begrudgingly provided upon request. Despite our repeated pleas for extra fries, they never materialized. In summation, our experience at De Beren was nothing short of a nightmarish ordeal, and we unequivocally vow never to darken their doorstep again. No more paprika powder marinated meats! It's nice to see that they've switched to a proper grill experience with fine cuts of beef. We enjoy coming here now! Improvements were a success & the cocktails are yummy! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €40–50

Things go very wrong when the location is crowded. Orders taken wrong, served wrong etc. Fish and chips is the saltiest ever. I have tried burger before and I wanted to try something else and apparently f&c is a terrible choice. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Yhea nice place, view and location might not be the best. But they for sure made the best from it. Also its a nice reachable place for cars (it's on a intersection). Food was good, I can advice the spare ribs and sate, there great. Prices are medium (to low) people where nice and helpful. Most of the time you don't need to book a reservation, but it won't hurt to do so.

Nicely decorated with some stuffed toy bears (but as a bear lover I wanted to see more bear themed items/decorations). Decent menu and some vegetarian options. Friendly staff and the food arrived soon after ordering.

This recently remodeled restaurant serves great food for an affordable price, at least by Dutch standards. Their daily specials of unlimited spare-ribs or sole are good and the rest of their menu is not bad either. The atmosphere of the place is much better after the franchise remodeled a couple of years ago, and the changes they made to the interior a few weeks ago were a nice improvement as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. The one downside is that it's located right next to a busy road, which makes sitting at the tables outside less attractive. If you plan on visiting, reserve a table on the website just in case, some nights are very busy and it only takes a moment to do.

good restaurant. great spare ribs with several flavors (I recomment honey). great restaurant for and with kids, not so much if you're only with adults (lot of noise from people with kids and the restaurant empties early compared to other restaurants). nice if you want to eat early I guess. food is good, staff is nice.
