I went to Red Bone Alley last night and it was amazing! The ribs were so tender and flavorful, and the sweet potato fries were the perfect side. We are from Canada and every winter we visit friends in Florence and look forward to eating at your restaurant. On Feb 17, 2024 we made a reservation for dinner. We arrived at 6:30pm and did not receive our food until approximately 8:30. We had a four year old with us and we requested twice during this two hours if we could just have her grilled cheese as she was getting restless and tired. When our salads came out she still not get her grilled cheese. She couldn't understand why everyone else got food and not her. We finally we got our food my order was wrong. I had requested grits and got cold mashed potatoes. Another person at our table also said his potatoes were cold. As if all of this wasn't bad enough my prime rib was well done when I had requested medium rare and so tough I could not eat it. I did tell the waitress about my meat and it was taken off the bill. This was not the experience we were expecting as two times prior the food and service was fantastic. It was unforgivable to let that little girl wait two hours for her grilled cheese hence we and our Florence friends will never be back. Best Shrimp and Grits I have ever had! Considering that ordering Shrimp and Grits is almost a hobby for me, that is covering a LOT of ground. Really Shrimp and Grits and Ham to be truthful. The grits were perfect and plentiful and so were the shrimp. The ham was a bonus, and made the meal. No highfalutin sauce/ gravy to distract you from the shrimp or grits or ham. I got the shrimp tacos. It was 3 Tiny shrimp and some arugula. No sauce , no cheese, no slaw, no nothing. It came with a side of homemade chips. My friend asked for cheesy grits. It was a slab of grits with a few shreds of cheese. Unmelted. We had to ask for bread. The fried pickles were ok and kids meals were ok but the pineapple was fresh but unpeeled and the core was still in the slice making it inedible. If you’re looking for an easy going and affordable place to eat with good food, then come eat here. Food: We ordered the lunch portion of the fettuccine Alfredo and it was a good sized portion. We also had Caesar salad with it that was good. Atmosphere: There is table seating as well as bar seating and both are great options. They do tend to get full quickly during lunch time but overall it’s a nice and clean environment. Price: The price of the dishes are normal for what you’re getting. Great Find!! Stopped at this place with our party of 7 on our way home to Georgia from Myrtle Beach for the first time and loved it. We were pleasantly surprised! This place had the cutest theme and seating. Low wait times. The food and menu options were good. Kids menu options. There are 2 game room areas (1 small one downstairs and larger one upstairs), toddler play area with toys and ice cream with kids meals from the ice cream truck. Our food was really good. We had an appetizer and 7 completely different meals. Our server was Kiyani C. and she was amazing. If you go here, I recommend asking for her. I ordered the Atlantic salmon with rice and mixed vegetables. The salmon and the mixed vegetables was delicious but the rice was over cooked it was a little hard. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was amazing I absolutely loved it. This is a very nice place and will be back when visiting Florence again. 1st of all this place is awesome. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is something I have never seen before and it totally sets a wonderful vibe that you are in an alley in some cool part of a town or city eating dinner. The place is two stories and the view is incredible. The windows and doors that lead to areas for the staff is an awesome touch. The seating arrangements are unique and very well placed for how the owner wants to display his vision for the restaurant. Down the center of the restaurant is a brick layered pathway with tables on the left and right of the pathway and it's awesome as far as design ease of access for customers. Over all, the seer design and feel of this place is something to behold. It's amazing and sets a very good vibe for a date night or a family. The food was excellent, the deviled eggs with shrimp on top was delicious. We got the Shrimp and Grits and Shrimp Tacos and they were very good. Nothing was a bad price. All seemed fair in that department. The only complaint I have is that the staff was friendly yes but some staff had this blank expression on their faces like they didn't want to be there. I understand better than most the hustle and bustle of a kitchen ( I've been there) but the hustle and bustle of the staff should be just as important. Our waitress wasn't bad, she just seem like she didn't put the effort into providing customer service as the others. The bathroom was clean and kept neat. There is an unfinished game room upstairs and I can't wait to see how that turns out on my next visit, my son loves that. All in all, the place was a fun night out with my family and I had a great 1st time experience with this location. Large theme restaurant, with a large menu. it was nice to see vegetarian selections. I got fried green tomatoes bowl with Carolina rice and succotash. And friend got the tea infused pork chops, both were good. The rolls were delicious and some of the best I have had. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. They had a cocktail menu, but were out of most of the ingredients to make them. The decor was nice but needed a cleaning and updating on artificial greenery. AWWWESOME PLACE! SUPER COOL and creative atmosphere inside! You still feel as if you’re eating outside! And in such a beautiful location! I’ve never seen a restaurant go to THIS extreme to create ambiance! Just look at the photos and you’ll see what I mean. It truly does make you feel like you are in another city, or even country… The food was good, prices are normal, service was great! I highly recommend this restaurant and am so glad we chose to eat here in Florence, SC. It is worth your stop even if you are just traveling up or down I-95.
