I've had good experience and bad experience with Popeyes. Merced has the best crispy chicken sandwich. Until just a few days ago I tried some of their crispy chicken pieces like legs thighs and breasts and it was not greasy like KFC. I've always loved KFC but I plan on getting a bucket of Popeye's Chicken next time The chicken sandwich in Merced is $3.99. Just stopped off at Livingston near the highway and there's is $5.49. I'm not paying that. It's the principle. I have the money. Okay just decided to go there with my son and this chicken sandwich it's not even worth $5. The chicken was more on the burnt side and was half as thick as Merced chicken sandwich. Garbage. I'll never go to this Popeyes again. But the Burger King connected to it has my best review of all Burger Kings for everything I've eaten there 11/6/23 I came in but prices were so high I could not afford anything here. But that goes for all the fast food places have just become so ridiculous. I have found that the chicken nuggets are so delicious. Service here is terrible. Only ordered a sandwich, and it took almost 15 min. I would understand if they were busy, but they only had 3 customers. The lady in the back couldn't have been slower, and the 2 guys in the front stood there with their head in the clouds. To make matters worse they didn't even get the order right. The freshest popeye's we've had! Everything was packaged nicely and the tenders, shrimp, biscuits and sides were all very tasty! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
