Honestly only been here twice and the place is super clean!! The service and vibe is wonderful and the food is quality goods, definitely made with love. I really enjoy the whole atmosphere! It was busy, but it was great. Had an appetizer that was set on fire right by our table. As if I don't get enough attention already 🤣 I'll return again someday! Didn't have enough room for dessert and it looked really good. There was a shrimp dinner plate that looked really good too. AMAZING!! Our waitress, Rosa, was fantastic! She checked on us at the best times and was always smiling when she came to the table. The other staff were kind and greeted us as we came and left the restaurant. The food was delicious! We’ve been to multiple different Mexican restaurants and get a slice of tomato rather than pico, not Plaza Morena! We could not stop talking about how good the food was! We had raspberry margaritas that didn’t taste overpowered with tequila, but still gave a good punch! I’ve had a hard time finding a really good fried ice cream since our family favorite restaurant closed years ago…the fried ice cream was just divine! New favorite restaurant! Quite good, expansive menu. Prices were in line. The chimi and sides were plentiful, felt the Campechanos could have had a little more veg to compliment the abundant chicken but still delicious. Drinks were big and very reasonably priced! Definitely visit again soon. 1/18/23. After many visits now still is excellent and every server has been great. This place has it ALL!! You know when you go out for a good Mexican dish and each time you try a place, you find one thing you really like that sets it apart from the others? This place has that perfect everything!! I tried the Plaza fajitas which included steak, chicken and shrimp.. It was cooked to perfection!! The onions and peppers tasted fresh as could be and as if they were cooked separately. The flavors of the fajitas didn't blend together. You could taste each individual ingredient. The size of the dish was awesome.. I've always been one to take leftovers home and I couldn't help myself but to finish my plate!! The Lava cake and ice cream for dessert was sinfully delicious!! Best Mexican food I’ve had so far between Rochester and Mankato in Southern Minnesota. I sat at the bar on a Sunday evening and had steak fajitas. The bartender was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and customer service was top quality. The food was served quick and the fajitas were steaming hot and absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend coming here for exceptional food and customer service.
