We absolutely love the Vespera hotel itself. However the $45 a night to park was a shock and we wish we were told before hand or when we booked. They have a beautiful restaurant and bar, however, the menu is completely incomprehensible, and the items are not what would be expected from a restaurant/hotel of this caliber. It was disappointing not to have more and better options. With 20 years of restaurant and system sustainability, I highly recommend a review of the menu items and options and chef specialties. We patroned this establishment March 2024 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

So I am ambassador level with Marriott. I am Staying at the Vespera hotel and thought I would have dinner at Pequin with my partner. Been here 3-4 times and always found the food and service to be inconsistent, though sometimes pretty tasty. So we went down to the restaurant and there was a twenty minute wait. I’m ok with that although the host told the people behind us it was only a 10 minute wait. Curious! We were seated in about 30 minutes then was walked to our table in the outdoor area. We waited for about 15 minutes for the waitress to take our drink and dinner order. We ordered an appetizer, salad and the pork chops. The drink came right away! So then we started the wait. 20 minutes went by and not once did someone check with us. So I thought I would set my timer on my phone to see how much longer we would half to wait. And then we waited, and waited and waited more. Another 45 minutes went by and still nothing, no appetizer, no salad, not even a check-in. About that time I witnessed two waitresses fight over a plate of food that just came from the cook! Some of the food fell on the floor. I stood up and asked my partner if she minded leaving. So we stood up and waved our waitress over. She saw us and ran over to us. We asked her to cancel our dinner. She gave us an unbelievable apology and turned away. I then went to the front desk to complain and they didn’t seem too concern. So much for an ambassador level with Marriott! Very disappointing experience this trip. I'll definitely be eating someplace different the rest of this trip! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Made a reservation a week in advance for Christmas. We got there and they told us that they had a christmas menu that was $90 per person but they also had their regular menu. They made us wait for an hour and a half with a reservation. We finally got seated and they told us that we had to pay for the christmas menu because they didn’t have the regular menu anymore since they ran out of ingredients while we were waiting. The christmas menu only had 7 options and none of them were good.

Great Location! Love being outdoors by the fire pits! We had a very good time, New Years Eve. Prime Rib great wine and good service. We enjoyed the band, too! I've been to the bar a few times and wish I could say service was great there too, but never a smile or greeting! Getting their attention for drinks has always been super sub-par and always feel like I'm imposing on them. I know it will be better soon! Thanks! Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
