As someone who lived in Greece for half a year, I cannot stress this enough - this place 100% nails the Greek restaurant-going experience. The staff is very kind and attentive, the place itself looks authentic... And the food. My goodness, the food. You won't find a place with more authentic Greek cuisine in Apeldoorn than this place. Hands-down my favorite restaurant in Apeldoorn! Quick edit: Just went back here and this time made me feel really nostalgic, thinking of my 5 months of living in Thessaloniki. So it has become a tradition that when we holiday in the Netherlands my husband and I have a date night and great food is a huge part of that experience. Parthenon never fails to impress! The food is always amazing, the staff are friendly and attentive and it's location is perfect for that romantic meal before heading to the local bars for drinks and dancing. I had the fish mixed grill for my main and it was delicious! After 3 years waiting to be able to return we were not disappointed.

Popped in for dindins after a movie. Comfy seating and roomy tables and quick efficient service by most efficient hostesses. We both had souvlaki and gyros and a salad with my Coke Zero and wife had tonic and lemon. Dessert was choc and icecream and baklava. Coffee and tea for wash down. Cost less than €70. I'd book on Fridays and weekends. Daytime outside seating available on warm days.

We ordered food out, our food ended up arriving well over 30 minutes late, which is somewhat understandable. The amount of food you get for the price you pay is reasonable. We ordered a meat dish with various types of meat, sadly most of the meat was way too salty, the few pieces of meat that did not have that much salt did taste nice though.

This was the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to! The atmosphere is great, the attendants are very warm and solicitous, the menu has great choices, even for vegetarians. Every single thing I tasted tasted very good and striking. It is worth getting the 3 cart menu and be amazed by every item.
