Went in on a busy Saturday morning, was raining cats and dogs outside and instead of us waiting for an appropriate sized table they sat my small family at their large group table, which was very kind and immediately set the tone of a family friendly place. Menu is simple and offers your normal cafe fair and some with an ocean side town twist. I got the eggs Benedict with shrimp and was pleasantly surprised how well they paired. A local resident told us that the best breakfast in town was at the Osprey Cafe. He was so right! They're busy and its a small cafe so we had to wait for a table. They took our name and phone number so we ran a few errands while we waited. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait!!! I had the smoked steelhead scramble. It was so delicious! My sisters had French toast and the pancake breakfast. Their breakfasts were perfect, too. Got on the wait list checked after been told the wait might be 10 to 15 min. Checked after 30 min to see where we at and was told there had been no booth available for 3 people. I did see on her clipboard 4 groups with 2 people crossed off, who sat at booths that perfectly fit 3. We'd been bumped because we've been there with our 8 year old. They have a great La Marzocco machine, unfortunately produce a latte with burned milk. Food was really good and the reason for 2 stars. Bummer, reviews and place looked so promising.
