Title: Disappointing Experience at a Restaurant Text: I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. The quality of the food was the worst I have ever encountered, and the service was equally as terrible. From the moment we walked in, the manager was rude, and this behavior continued with the waiter. When I requested a specific drink, the waiter instead gave me something that had already been opened, disregarding my preference. I found this to be unacceptable. Additionally, I was shocked to discover that a burger cost $35. While the price itself is not the main issue, the overall experience was horrendous. To make matters worse, I had a child with me who even refused to eat due to the poor quality of the food. First thing entering in the restaurant, the waiter looked at us on a very judging way and sat us inside (we asked for it), then he related to us with a very judgemental behaviour, after we order he kind of relaxed a little bit, but continued to behave on a very uncomfortable way towards us, then we realised that (probably) because of the way that we were dressed after the beach he must have prejudge us, overall the food was tasteless and the environment unpleasant. It was a pleasure to have lunch at the restaurant Ocean. A warm welcome, a nicely decorated place, an excellent service of all the waiters (and also special thank you to our waiter Jordy!), and very good mussels and steak tartare. We will definitely go back to try other specialties on the menu, next time we go to Oostende.

Easy and not complicated menu, the food was fresh and tasty. I had an asparagus (excellent), fish (nice!) Served with fries (not the best) and a small salad. Very nice staff. You make no mistake coming in.

Friendly and professional staff. Relaxing place with great food. We have been here for 7 days, this is the only restaurant so far that takes covid seriously. All employees were very diligent to wear their masks correctly. In a time where the delta variant is spreading fast this is highly appreciated.
