I met three friends for happy hour tonight. We’ve been here before and liked it, but tonight our server made it next level. Florence was very fun and we loved our interactions with her. We ordered a ton of appetizers and drinks and she kept everything on track! Florence is an excellent server. And this is only her second week! I thought she’d been here for years. Staff like Florence really make all the difference in the customer experience. We will be asking for her the next time we’re in! Great food, great service and a great wine selection. We visit a couple times a year and have never had a bad meal. Definitely does not live up to the standards you'd expect from Mitchell's. The place was empty on a Sunday. Since there was no one there, you would expect service to be attentive, but our server disappeared for long stretches of time. It was a 5 pm on a Sunday and they were out of crabcakes. The soup was not hot. My dinner was alright but not great. My father-in-law had surf and turf and his filet was very tough and lobster was not good. My wife's sea bass was very good though. The sole bright spot. I just would have expected better service and quality from this place.
