I would of loved to see this McMenamins actually live up to all the other McMenamins standards. Coming from the Portland metro area I do find myself eating around all of Portlands McMenamins from time to time and every single time I have had a great all around experience. There is never a time I could ever even think to critique their food/service. It’s just been consistently on point at every location I go to. BUT the one here in Lincoln city honestly drops down the the very bottom of my list and I cannot be more disappointed. How is it possible that no matter what location I go to either the Kennedy house, Edgefield or any of the numerous locations they continue to stay consistent with not only their food but with their drinks,service and atmosphere. Here at the Lincoln city location we got bunch of food to go. It was almost over 85 dollars because we had a lot of people. I can only describe their food to almost “stadium food” standards Like as if I went to a ball game or some concession stand. The fries we got looked like a tiny handful a child could carry and we paid 16 dollars? I don’t even want to start on the sliders. Looked like it came straight out of a White Castle box of sliders. Anyways just being from Portland and a huge lover of all McMenamins I really wouldn’t even consider this a McMenamins. Just your average bar with mediocre food. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Went with my elderly and disabled mother and my older aunt. We took the elevator to the top to the restaurant and then saw the sign saying we were supposed to check in downstairs. An employee heard us and said that it was ok and showed us to a table. I went to the restroom while my mom and aunt ordered drinks. They had their drinks by the time I got back, unfortunately another woman and man who worked there came up and asked us why we were there. We explained but they were very rude saying that 9 people were waiting. I completely understand, but we did not force anyone to seat us. The kind employee that seated us recognized that my mom was disabled and never said anything to us. The second woman was rude and disrespectful. We just walked out. Maybe have a sign on the bottom level outside to explain the rules. The downstairs was a full bar that we didn't want to go in. Also, it is not wheelchair accessible after 7:30pm. Service: 1

Ordered the bacon cheese burger. It was the best burger I can remember. Big juicy third pound patty. All of the fixings with fresh veggies. The tatertots are very very crispy and wonderful. This was a fantastic place to get dinner and relax. McMenamins delicious food and excellent service will make you forget all about that pesky ocean. Their beer selection was varied and the lobster Mac and cheese didn't lack in the lobster like other places. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Upper management should probably get involved at this point. Locals wanting to enjoy Mcmenamins food, but every time we get food from here, it’s insanely inedible which is a letdown. Other properties seem to be ok with their food, Lighthouse has been declining for sometime. Was craving cajun tots that my husband got as a *to go. Freezer burnt,, then fried to a crisp, stale, cold/old tots. They were literally discolored. Been giving this place another shot over the years, won’t happen again. Do better Mcmenamins!! Food: 1

Crab fondue was great! I had their classic cheese burger with a cup of clam chowder and both were delicious. My wife and really enjoyed their light fruity beer called Ruby Ale with a hint of raspberry. Super easy to drink and tasty. I came here a year ago, and I'm glad I came back. Last year when I was in the area I stayed up a little too late sight seeing and this place was one of the few places open and serving food. I had a bread bowl with chowder and was tragically disappointed. The bread seemed stale and our server seemed to be a little too tipsy. A year later and I ended up in a similar situation, and of course wound up at McMenamins again. I got a bacon cheeseburger with regular fries and my boyfriend got the Jr burger with Cajun fries. It was so so good. So good that I'm really glad I came back to try it again. Our waiter was so sweet and funny and I was jealous I didn't get the Cajun fries like my boyfriend. So delicious! This place is proof that you should always give restaurants a fair try. I'm so glad I did. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sitting on the upper level looking out the windows on a perfect weather day was just awesome. All the food, all drinks were great. Our server made it even better with his knowledge of all the brews and ciders.
