Six words: best Chinese food in the area. We got the general tso’s chicken and the lo mein. The chicken was to die for! The lo mein was excellent. They were nice and willing to answer a lot of questions. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Restaurant was very dirty and obvious shortcuts were taken in cleaning the dining area, and kitchen. The decor on the wall that stuck out was covered in dust and dirt, and the vacuum that was in the dining room had such a covering of dust that it made me wonder the last time it was run. The kitchen area you could see from the lobby on the right hand side near the eggroll cooler right behind it I could make out something darker. I don't know the last time behind it was cleaned, but by my estimations based on the other things I saw in the main lobby it probably had been a while. Now the real crime was the food itself. For the sesame chicken the chicken was the right texture, but if sesame seed oil or seeds were used prior or incorporated into the dredge before frying it I could not taste it since it should've had a slightly nutty flavor on it from that. Instead I got mostly the overpowering sauce which in my opinion was very bland and very overpowering soy not much else used in the making of it that I could make out in flavor profile. Again for the sauce I should've had hints of hoison in there or perhaps garlic or ginger, but no such hints were found in the sauce instead it mostly tasted of terriyaki and soy. The vegetables were frozen which is fine, but by the texture of the vegetables they could not have been incorporated into a wok at the end with the sauce and meat before serving it into the bowl This would've done wonders for the texture of the vegetables as well as general flavor by spreading the flavor of the sauce and helping thicken it a bit more to maybe add some of the broccoli flavors back into the sauce. Now I will go to praise the one thing I thought was perfectly done of the entire meal which made the rest of this very disappointing. The rice was perfectly seasoned, not too dry or moist, vegetables in the rice were perfect in texture. The rice would've and did amplify all the other things wrong though which is why it was disappointing. I kinda wished with that rice just crack an egg or two the sauce and it would've been a truly great egg fried rice meal instead. The worst part of the meal hands down had to be the egg roll. There was a lot of condensation on the refrigeration unit near the front where they were being kept and it was overcooked, and texture wise it was much too hard for an egg roll. Of all the places I've ate at and ordered that same meal this was by far the iteration with some of the best potential but ultimately disappointed to become the worst meal I've had in several years. My recommendation for improvement is to do a deep clean of the whole place and consider improving the cooking process to if not doing what I said to help the texture of vegetables to do so and it would easily go up to 5 star worthy, but with the cleanliness combined with the mistakes I tasted it currently leaves much to be desired. Another improvement I might suggest is to further trim the menu and add some seasonal dishes since it is so close to the farmer's market that takes place there. Consider the value add of a seasonal ingredient like apples that would further enhance and make the restaurant stand out from competitors by doing this. There is many dishes that would just be one off from current menu that could take advantage of it such as using an apple curry or experimenting with an apple fried egg rice. That's just my food for thought and I do wish the place well and wish to see them improve. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
