Not impressed with this place. They warned us it might take awhile to get our food. It wasn't even busy. Waitress brought us some bread that was sliced so thin that you couldn't even put butter on it. ( Are they rationing bread) I ordered the shrimp scampi there was only 5 pieces of shrimp and only a little bit of pasta. (22 bucks) and it was lukewarm. Someone else ordered the tortellini. The sauce was watery and not thick and creamy (Lukewarm also). 1/2 rack of ribs was ordered. On the menu it says it comes with a veggie and potato. The waitress said it did not, that they changed it and it doesn't come with a veggie anymore. She did end up giving it to him. I guess you have to try a place at least once. Will not be back. The food was not great. I had the special, a beef pot pie. When it came to the table it was a bowl of ok beef stew with a puff pastry on top. This was a great, quaint place to stop for supper. The atmosphere was casual and warm. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The service was amazing! Really appreciated Mary who looked after us for dinner. Truly, a Torch Lake gem! Don’t waste your time. We did a carry out so MAYBE it would be a better experience in the restaurant—however—we just paid $100 for terrible food. The chicken and fries had no seasoning whatsoever. The spaghetti was very mediocre (and $25). The whitefish plate had no flavor, a hard baked potato with nothing on it and some veggies (again with no flavor or seasoning). It also had a fish bone in it. We also ordered a molten cake and this is what we received. A soggy, melted, and extremely hard bowl of mush. Extremely disappointed. Great Italian food & hip atmosphere with live music. Got to meet Dominic the owner & had a very attentive waitress Rosie. It was a great Anniversary Dinner & we will definitely be back!
