This place has been on my list for a long time. Thinking back, it's probably been on the list since 2012!! Seriously. Crazy. Even back then I remember trying to get in and had to leave due to the long wait. That hasn't changed as this place gets insanely busy - even for an early morning Sunday brunch! We had the COOP Plater and Strawberry French Toast. What can I say - come hungry! 🤣 Bacon was crispy, amazing grits, and well made eggs. Both the drinks and meal were worth the wait. You can sneak in if you don't mind seating at the bar but I would still recommend a reservation or coming early. Visited during restaurant week and the special menu was great. The server accommodated our group of five pretty fast. Also, the portions of the special menu are huge for the price. Easily, two people can eat from one plate. Country inspired oversized portions. There is a reason locals are standing on the street in New York City. 🏙️ This restaurant was packed, be sure to make a reservation, we walked right in. Homemade biscuits, gravy tops everything and staples like chicken and waffles 🧇 Full bar with classics like bloody Mary’s topped with bacon 🥓. Saturdays they have the pulled pork special on the menu - till they run out. It was amazing! Of course we go a side of pickles.
