The Food was not good, it was not fresh, it seem like it was a few days old or something and it was cold. I just live 5 minutes away by the time I got home it was cold and The food didn’t have any flavor, I got carne asada and 4 rolled tacos with beans on the side and a coke it cost 41 dollars very pricey for what I got I am very disappointed .im from San Diego, and believe I know good Mexican food and that’s was not even close. How is this spot not shut down yet? a year ago I walked in and flies everywhere. A week ago I tried to give it another chance, I walk in, a fly or two. I tried the “shredded beef” tacos, I honestly don’t know what meat I ate. It was not shredded or did it taste like beef. It was gummy and in pieces. The cheese also smelled like it went bad. Then to top it off, when the food arrived at the table, lo and behold more flies appeared. The service was ok. Ask for the chicken fajita as it is the best I’ve ever had. So juicy and tender but flavored with amazing veggies/seasoning. Super glad the waitress recommended it as it is now my new favorite dish. Thank you!

Cute little mom and pop type of style restaurant. Always seen it growing up but i finally went have herd good thinsg from family and friends. Its very authentic and eveything is very lightly seasoned like how my grandma used to cook. I got the chile relleno that had a yummy crisp outside with a nice cheese. I also got the caldo de res & it was very natural and light not to greasy that i love. My mother got the chilaquiles verdes with two sunny side up eggs and they were phenomenal !! Its very affordable & laid back. I’m used to a bit finer restaurants but this is very old school damily authentic. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

Cozy little restaurant with a good menu that packs plenty of taste! Kids options with Quesadillas and burgers. Chile Verde was tender. Add a little of the green salsa to create a little kick.

I always get Irmas special , chille relleno, taco, enchilada and rice and beans. Large portions and chips and salsa are homemade.
