Place was packed. Servers were super busy. Cooks were slow because of all the people. Took forever to get food and then they didn't have something I ordered so had to take food back and make it right. It was an overall ok visit but just like everywhere else in the world today...not enough help to take care of the customers properly. I felt sorry for my waiter. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Oh please let me tell you about our visit with our wonderful waitress Ms Tamika D. Let me start by telling you I have been in the Management/Customer Service/Food Service since I was 17 years old. I am 55 now and I am a stickler for good service, food quality, cleanliness and such. Upon entering the floor was not sticky, always a good sign of the cleanliness of the store, as mopping is usually the last item of the cleaning that we are able to get to. Soon as we approached the counter we were greeted with the most joyous voice and beautiful smile that even made her eyes sparkle. We asked if we could be placed in a back corner somewhere as we knew we would be visiting for a spell. Ms Tamika was able to address and satisfy all of our needs. We needed our coffee urn refilled twice, and Ms Tamika never let it run dry. She would come and top us off and return with a fresh pot. Our good was cooked perfto our needs and the temperature was excellent. Thank you to the kitchen staff for your due diligence. Ms Tamika checked on us just enough to keep us taken care of without being overbearing. This young lady deserves to be recognized for her excellent customer service skills as well as showing a constant state of staying busy and taking care of her side chores as well as her customers. I will be back to this location, but yes I will be calling first to make sure my favorite waitress will be there to wait on me. I am spoilt now and wish to remain that way. I thank you for your time. IHOP used to be my family little restaurant of heaven but in 2018 after moving from Alaska back to Louisiana the location on Airline Dr. was horrible from the interior to the carpet and the smell and we never went back until Feb 2, 2024. Omg the interior was updated the atmosphere, environment and whole vibe was amazing. Our server was great she didn't talk too much while we were trying to eat and she was so nice to my boys. We will be back and I think we can start our Saturday morning tradition again after 6 years 🤣🤣. Great job guys. It smells so bad in here. For real. We were seated the the back corner on the left side of the main entrance near the bathrooms. It smells like a combo of sewage and garbage. Not delightful. The food is average, took forever to get, but they were busy. Never got a refill. I will never cheat on Waffle House with IHOP again.
