I took my husband here while we were home visiting my family. I bragged all the way to Charleston about how good it was when my friends and I would go growing up. Since it was a date night, we ordered sushi along with our hibachi meals. The hibachi itself was okay, but the uni sushi was inedible. I immediately spat it out in front of our whole table, it was so bad! My husband let them know when he was paying our bill and they could’ve cared less and mentioned that because we’re in the south, we get the “fresh stuff”?! Since it was clear they’re not concerned with their sushi being fresh and their customer’s disappointment, we absolutely will not be back. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Server said he would be right back. He was gone so long we had to ask another server. People came in after us got food before us paid and left before us. Bad experience! Never got my main course. Food is always amazing! I’m super picky about my food quality, but they do a great job. 👏🏼Not sure who our waitress was today but she was super sweet and took such great care of us. I absolutely love their creamy ginger dressing for the salad and the soup is also awesome. You also can’t beat the spicy chicken teriyaki w/ noodles and rice. Always great service and super quick. Plus if you sit at the grill, it’s guaranteed that your chef will make you laugh.

We went here for my daughters 14th birthday and our chef was amazing, he interacted with the kids and my granddaughter so well and they all had the best time, the food was amazing and we had not been for years!
