I was eating here a few years ago while a fire marshall safety inspection was happening. The firefighter was explaining and pointing out what they needed to fix. It was really basic and stupid stuff for a restaurant to be doing. Like hooking 4 extension cords together and running them through all the dry grass decorations. A middle aged man who i'm assuming was the owner was present, and he was throwing an absolute hissy fit about having to fix it. It was truly pathetic to see a grown adult act this way, let alone to the fire department of all people. If this business can't even manage common sense safety for customers, it makes me wonder what else they're willing to skimp out on. I haven't eaten here since. Atmosphere: 1

They hit a lot of positives - we got seated immediately on a Sunday morning; water served quickly; good waitress; food was good; good prices; real whipped butter, not those cold margarine packets; I'd go back.

Hazel's came highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed! The restaurant has been decorated in beach style with witty signs and other items throughout that make the place fun. The wait staff is amazing! They are fast, friendly, funny, and helped make our meal better. The food! Oh my goodness! When they say "the reds (potatoes) are better", please believe them! Tried this place out while in town visiting family, absolutely lovely! The atmosphere was fun, the servers were friendly, fast, and almost knew what we needed before we did! The food was stellar, extremely reasonably priced, and my kids cleared their plates! (That NEVER happens) Parking lot was nice and spacious with lots of free spots. Hazel's is a family breakfast favorite! This place just has good ol fashioned food and a fun atmosphere. Enjoy finding all of the hidden gems in the decorations while waiting for your food. This place can be very busy around 9-noon but the wait is usually worth it. The food is nothing spectacular, just good American breakfast. Good reliable food. Long wait on weekends. Cute decor with quirky decorations, smaller place. Fries are perfect, Denver omelet is the standard for my husband, I would never eat that, but he enjoys it, most recently had the French dip and the meat was on the dry side but when dunked in the broth, it was perfect.
