Terrible and disgusting! I went for a Solo dinner and I was very disappointed. The reviews mentioned good service and good food but it was very bad. Food was great, huge menu selection. Babu was our server and he was amazing.He was always checking up on us making sure everything was alright. Food came out super quick and was delicious. We have some family members who are Indian so we are picky of where we eat, but this was authentic indian. It was our first time so we just got a spice level 1 which was still very good but we could have done a 2 or 3 easy. Portions are pretty big, my husband and I were able to split a meal. My husband Anthony and I enjoy traveling and dining out. Today, we dined in at Guru India restaurant and were pleasantly surprised to find this gem! My husband had the curried lamb and I had the chicken biryani. The food was great and exactly what we expected from authentic indian cuisine. Our server Babu was very attentive, informative and pleasant. The restaurant was nicely updated, clean and had a warm, cozy atmosphere . Be sure to try the warm cardamom tea . It's a delight! Stopped in for dinner tonight and everything was terrific. Our waiter, Babu was friendly and very informative about all the menu items. This was not our first visit at Guru, and we couldn't figure out why we hadn't been there for so long. We will definitely be back again soon. We just love all the flavors of Indian cuisine.
