We don't have one in my city, so after driving 2 hours I was ready to eat dinner. We waited at the door for 30-40 minutes to pay and be seated. That wasn't the issue, once going into the dining area I noticed how dirty it was. The floors and the buffet area from people dropping food when getting it on their plates and nobody cleaning it up. There weren't enough place settings for people. There weren't forks, spoons, bowls and plates as needed. One area of food that was labeled comfort foods which had the stuff for tacos was empty and what was available was old, alot of the bins were empty, and what was available there was a long wait. The dessert table was a mess, the cakes and pies had been mushed around, and was only a few things available. Some staff was helpful, others seemed as if it was a bother to be asked. They're definitely lacking employees, they're lacking a team effort between the employees, the womens bathroom was NASTY. They definitely don't have the staff to keep up with the crowd and people were just making the mess worse and didn't seem to care. 8/10 don't recommend. The food I could get was hot and fresh and that wasn't much. Extremely disappointed. I don't think there was even a manager on duty to run things. I felt so bad for the staff that was trying. There wasn't any bourbon street chicken, salad bar was empty, no spaghetti, no stuff to make tacos, Basically chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and if you were lucky to get one dinner rolls. Had to wait on steak, they did have ham out, the Mac and cheese wasn't bad. Our server tried his best to do a good job but the poor guy was swamped with tasks and I could see he was stressed. Find a different buffet or don't go on a Sunday. Idk if everyday if the week is like this but I won't be returning to find out. After reading other reviews, I came back to edit mine. Most of the one-2 stars are accurate to what we experienced. I have no clue how they're getting 5 star reviews. So disappointing 😞 I can't stress how dirty the place was, I wish I'd of taken pictures but the other reviews that have them showing the filth are accurate. Time has changed. It has been a while since I have been there about 2yrs. They had a variety of food. Some was good some wasn't. The presentation was that good. What I got which was the Chicken noodles soup HOT, Baked fish OK, Salad Good fresh, 2pc of chicken Hot, and Peach Cobbler. Good with Vanilla ice-cream 😋😋. The sever was Good. Where am I ended up!!!??? Waiting in line for 30 minutes! Atmosphere is like I'm in poorest area! Dirty , literally everything and every where. Dirty dishes, countertops, restrooms, floors...... Do not go there. This was biggest ever disappointment from such an entity. A specific group of people fill privilege down there. Charging dinner price 2 hr prior to dinner time!! We didn't really like the food that much. The only things we liked were the shrimp, brussel sprouts meatloaf and desserts... The kids liked the pizza, shrimp, and a few other things. Also, we got there about two hours before close on a Saturday night, but they didn't really restock the good when it got low. The server, an older gentleman who engaged with his tables, was really nice. We liked him a lot. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I love Golden Corral. Good food, good service. The food is so good. It is a family and friends place of meeting and having a great time. If I could afford to, I would eat there everyday. They have everything you need and more. Good customer service skills they get you in really fast good variety of food love they pot roast mmmmmmm yummy good fun place for the little kids can can enjoy eating all varieties of the food their nice that it's a all you can eat buffet very reasonable in price for an all you can eat buffet. Ordered a turkey dinner day before Thanksgiving. Had a ham in my order. I ordered turkey. The 2 pieces of cake for $5.00 each were the size of about 1" × 2"..no lie. The potatoes were instant. Nothing was ready. 4 people had to run around to put my order together. I had my order in for 4:00pm about 3 weeks ahead of time. Now let me stress this was a take.out order. I'm not familiar with the sit down food. Sure looked good but I will never order a take out order from them again. The young lady that helped me to my car with food was an absolute angel. Absolutely love the food and hospitality during my visit at this location. I arranged a event and one of the rules for a group of over 20 people. The service was great, the food was wonderful, the climate & cleanliness was also noticeable. My involvement with the management to set up a separate room in advance for us went without a hitch or obstacle. Everything was first class and they addressed every single issue we had. I couldn’t be happier, and everyone who attended spoke well of it the establishment. I will be back. The fried fish was amazing, and others raved over the carved ham.
