I’ve lived in South Park for years and miss going to Ghostlight on Wayne Avenue with friendly baristas. The team that has been working in the mornings, particularly a blonde with bangs, is very unwelcoming and hostile almost every time I go in. My orders are always simple but I’m met with such a resentful attitude and even comments from her if I ask for something as basic as extra ice.I’ve worked in the service industry for 15 years and have been a barista myself in other countries and am blown away by how uninviting the experience is made by the staff. As a hotel front desk receptionist, I have never recommended this local coffee shop which is too bad but I don’t want to recommend a business with such a hostile staff. In addition to the unfriendliness, they are not the fastest baristas so they drag out the hostile experience. Would not recommend.

The Atmosphere inside is warm and inviting with a cozy Victorian style interior. The baristas were nice and friendly, I will note that due to the volume of customers that were in there at the time it was kind of hard to hear. They have back lot parking with a spot available for handicapped people. Food and drink were phenomenal, I got the London Fog drink which was complex but smooth and the Raison oatmeal Muffin which was remarkably moist and delicious.

They have a great selection of many drinks. They also sell non alcoholic spirits and display local artists for purchase. Nice atmosphere and good vibes. The pastries are exceptional, and the Marsala chai powder mix that you can purchase to take home and make, is my favorite.

I’ve enjoyed coffee shops in multiple states within the eastern time zone but in a single visit Ghostlight Coffee skyrocketed to elite “Top Two” status. What do I love about Ghostlight? First, the atmosphere is very chill and unique with its goth/grunge/steampunk influences. Second, my lumberjack latte was made incredibly well and the menu boasts multiple offerings — even alcohol for those who take their coffee Irish — that I predict will have me going somewhat out of my way in the future whenever it’s even slightly justifiable. Third, little touches like feminine hygiene products in the bathroom signal thoughtfulness and, while obviously I have no need of such things, my girlfriend easily could have, so I appreciated her having the option. I’d give six stars if I could. Venture into Ghostlight today!

~*I adore this coffee shop. This was one of the best coffee beverages I’ve ever had. I’m typically a black coffee drinker but stepped out of the comfort zone for an amazing surprise.
Service was great, other patrons gave off good vibes, loved the ambience.*~

Super cool little coffee place with a lot to offer. We are from out of town and the name attracted us to stop here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Had the Lumber Jack latte and it was really good. It was busy and all the seating was taken or we would have loved to stick around longer. Parking is slightly tricky too but it's in the city, so that is to be expected.
