My boyfriend and I have been to Garrett Ale House a few times for Sunday brunch and we decided to check it out for dinner. Unfortunately I don’t think we will return for dinner. We’ve had good experiences with our Sunday brunch visits but last night for dinner was just disappointing. I got a few drinks and while both of those were good, the food was disappointing. It took us over an hour after ordering to get our meals. I got the caprese panini which I was so looking forward to trying, but the bread was soggy and cold and my fries were cold. My boyfriend ordered the marry-me chicken and while he said it tasted good we just wished the portion size could’ve been slightly bigger. We were given the check and had to wait for 25 minutes before someone came over for us to pay our bill. We’ve never had a problem during brunch and will likely return for brunch, but I can’t say the same about dinner here. First time visit. My wife and I loved the food (salmon and cod) with broccoli and yellow rice, nice tavern-like atmosphere. Great spot for a date night. We'll definitely be going again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
