We stopped by on our way down from Boston. We didn’t have reservation so we sat in a room with more lighting than expected so if you want a vibe…. make reservations. The waiter was amazing and patient. My husband ordered the hanger steak which was really good. He even said he enjoyed it more than filet mignon. I ordered a special that had all seafood which was ok. Wasn’t fond of the red sauce or the taste of the shrimp. It did bring enough seafood though. The rainbow sushi was really good. Overall ok experience. We have a fire and oak in Jersey city that we’ve been too before and enjoyed. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Food has yet to disappoint me. My girlfriend and I recently came here for Vday. We started with lobster Mac and fell in love all over again. The filet mignon were excellent and her salmon was rich in flavor. Great night but service gets busy so be patient with them. Wonderful atmosphere for a date night. When we arrived for our reservation, we were seated immediately. The servers were attentive, however it was very busy and we did have to wait awhile for additional drinks but that's understandable given the Valentine's day crowd. My husband had the prime rib which was among the best I've tasted, and I had the rigatoni & wild boar ragout which was fantastic. The servings were generous, enough for leftovers for both of us. OMG THIS RESTAURANT IS THE BEST. I seriously loved it and it was the perfect spot to celebrate my bday. I was really happy with the drink and food choices. They even had sushi and great deserts. The kitchen is 5 stars along with the waitress and the decor. I came here last when my grandma had just passed so I left before even ordering anything and I’m happy to say my visit here has been complete!

Shane gave us such a wonderful first experience for dinner at Fire & Oak from beginning to end! The food and drinks were delicious, and Shane was incredibly attentive to everything we needed. If a drink or condiment was running low, he was already at the table offering us another before we noticed. Amazing service that sadly is rare nowadays. Definitely will be back to have the short rib dinner entree again, and will be requesting Shane as our server! 10/10 experience. Beautiful venue. Pleasant service. Very very loud. There’s a separate enclosed dining area and a beautiful upstairs private room. However I was incredibly disappointed in the food. I ordered beef ribs. They served me. Pre packaged pot roast! Yes I know the difference. That alone was enough to anger me. The most insane amount of fries I’ve ever received anywhere (and the tastiest). The food was incredible and plenty. My partner and I got a few dishes to share and honestly, if we weren’t being gluttons we could’ve shared an app and an entree because Jesus, do they feed you. My one and only issue was that the coconut shrimp sushi rolls were a little too sweet but overall, everything was incredible. We stayed in Marriott , for 2 days as our flight was cancelled due to bad weather. This was the restaurant in the hotel. We had less options so thought of giving it a try. We were shocked to see how tasty the food was. We tried all their signature dishes for lunch and dinner. Ambience of the place was awesome. The staff were very polite and so courteous.
